Glass Nail with Gold and Silver Leaf | Kirsty Does Her Own Nails Part 1

Hi everyone
Today I’m going to do a glass nail with silver and gold leaf because I need some shiny nails.
I’ve been picking at my skin so my nails look ratchet. I’ve already prepped my nails and I’m going to to apply my forms to start.
I’m going to use Natural Beige to cover the natural nails and shape the smile line so you can’t see my disgusting nails but I still have the glass look. I’m then going to go in with Clear Acrylic very thin. I’ll then file the smile line so it’s really pretty. I’m then going to use Gold Leaf Foil and Silver Leaf Foil and tear off tiny little pieces of the foil to encapsulate in clear acrylic. I’ll then pinch and file the nail into shape and finish with Top Coat and don’t forget to do the bottom of the nail. Finish with Oil,

Try using baking soda with a little bit of water and let it sit before you exfoliate with it to remove that dye. Us moms have all been there haven’t we? LOL what we do for them.

Stunning!! Anyone found with the new gel topcoat glue doesn’t set on the top, you have to buff the area to apply glue and stones, but don’t have this issue with the urban graffiti topcoat? I have tried wiping over too.

Oh, these turned out beautifully! I really love them, and I have everything I need to do my own, except for a decent nail form. I _do_ have clear tips, however. The remaining question is: how lazy am I feeling today? Since this whole lock-down situation I've been lazier than *ever!* Heck, I waited _so long_ to do my last fill that I broke nearly all of them, and did some damage to a few nail plates, and maybe one nail bed. Now I'm letting them have a little R&R. And, like Kirsty, I've been picking at my cuticles and sidewall skin until my fingertips are sore. It's a stress coping mechanism, I guess. Although I don[t know what purpose sore fingertips could serve in alleviating stress! The only thing I even _want_ to do at all is cook, and that is because meals are about the only thing to look forward to in lock-down. Besides, if I want to eat certain things I have to cook them myself. For example, if we are going to grill some chicken and asparagus or zucchini we usually want potato salad to go with it. So, if I want potato salad we all like, I have to make it because commercial potato salads are disgusting, nobody eats them and it's virtually throwing money in the trash.

Hi Kirsty, luv your channel, was wounding if you could please do a acragell tutorial for us that’s trying to use it for the first time and the easiest way to do it for a first time user. I’ve found loads of different methods but would luv ur opinion. I used to do silk dust nails with resin and can’t get hold of the products and not sure when the nail salons will be opening. Have you tried tea tree oil on your dermatitis? I blend it with almond oil or coconut oil.
