I was always taught to start at the pinky nail and work towards the thumb. Reason being that we use our pointer and thumb fingers more then others so it’s for stability.

The primer on the inside of the nail to edge it is new to me instead of literally edging it with the file or bit inside..ima have to try that thank you. This set came out fire. Love them. So beautiful with all the details combined with all negative space on alternate nail tips was a great. The transparency on time you put in to do them was realistic & you had loads of patience to get through 7 hours as you did other things in your day.

New to your channel, 1st video. I've been doing gel & powder dip for many years but wasn't really getting good results so i started watching videos just a few months ago. Wow, what a difference it makes! I'm using gelx type nails & finally found how to get them to stay on longer than a week, even wias rough as i am on my nails. I am really struggling with designs still even after watching a video but this design looks pretty easy. I'm saving this for the spring. Now i have to find a nice fall look that'll last me 3-4 weeks.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! Your nails come off so easy. It's a pain in the butt for me. I don't think I'm saturating the cotton round enough. Also, I've been seeing a lot of people file towards the cuticle part of the gel x nail. I'm going to try that. It really does look flawless.

Yes, make sure it’s saturated or you can try the bowl method and see if that works better for you. And since I started filing the cuticle area I have definitely seen a difference in how seamless they look 🙌🏽

You have to file off your top coat first, or else the acetone will not penetrate the acrylic at all

Did you cure the nail after every color? Such as the green stem cure it, then the pink flower cure it then the blue flowers cure it? Or did u do the flowers and stem all at one time and then cure it? How long does it take you to do a whole set? I feel like I’m so slow and just need to get a general idea of how fast I should be going. Also, if anyone else wants to share how fast or slow they are and steps they found weren’t necessary/ are necessary that would be so so so helpful. Thank you! :) Edit: I think later in the video she mentions how log it takes her but I would still love to hear other people times.

Go at your own speed, it’s your you time. You’ll get faster as you practice and learn more. I take about 3 hours or 4.5 if I have to do removal. This includes basic nail art. It’s mostly me being indecisive about what color lol
