I think what you could do for commentary is to just talk when you're already at advantage or disadvantage, like when you are in neutral and need to think "is he gonna throw this move or that" or whatever, like the point where you really need to think, you don't have to talk through that, but once you land a hit and start a combo string going you can. Kinda like waiting until the end of a scene where the characters stop talking when in a movie theater to ask your friend what you missed, just try to find the right spot for it.

DBFZ would be a fun online fighting game to play if the game didn't have an input delay-based netcode in the online server. Offline-wise, it's fun and enjoyable against the CPU, a friend or a family member. Online-wise, it's garbage. I'm not playing DBFZ again not until the game gets an update patch that fixes the online server's input delay-based netcode.
