I hate my GROWN KIDS! Parents who regret having kids!

Thank you for highlighting the issue with adult kids. As much as I can't deal with babies and toddlers, adults aren't much better. They could end up being terrible ppl who are violent, lazy, or just fight over your inheritance.

This is a no brainer for me. When kids are minors, parents have a responsibility to them. Once a person becomes an adult, that is not longer true if the kids can't act right. I don't care who it is, if you are a grown adult and being abusive, disrespectful or foolish, a person has every right to cut off ties and not deal with you. This man should kick them out if they're in his home. If not, he needs to let them know they cannot act this way and be in his life.

Exactly. You can try to pull the “they are grown, so I wash my hands of it” card. But how did your kids get to 18 years old and become such bad citizens? Did you not parent them at all when they were young? It’s your fault for releasing them into society like that. How did you have 18 years with them and accomplish nothing?!? Shame on you.

My father has 5 children and I am the oldest. I am the only one who is child free and dont have to ask him for a DIME! My siblings range from 38 to 33 and they keep thier hand in my dads pocket. So even if some peoples kids are grwn, they still need someone to take care of them. My dady wont admit it, but I know he regrets at leas 2 of them. I dont feel sory for him cause he was in the street and it caught up with him.

I have so many questions about this situation. How old were her kids when they got together, did he not notice when they were dating that her parenting wasn’t up to par (if they’re acting like this now this behavior isn’t new), do the kids work, have goals, etc? They’re adults now and responsible for themselves but i suspect mom has a lot to do with it. And what is going on with the mom that she’s acting like an immature 16 year old? What is he doing to prevent his younger 3 kids from ending up the same way?

They all need to have a discussion about their outrageous behaviour. They need discipline and he needs to make sure the last 2 won't be like the 3 (so candid conversations need to be had). The mom needs to stop being their friend and learn how to parent them. The one getting the miscarriages, she needs to close her legs and open more books. That third child can enroll in counselling/anger management and learn how to not put her hands on people or she may be 6ft under messing with the wrong one. Either you're in school, learning a trade, volunteering and or working a steady job and moving up. They sound idle.

He didn’t pay attention. She was already a mother when they met. What was her parenting like? Were the kids bratty and rude and poorly behaved when they were dating? Did he dismiss that behavior as “just kids being kids”? The fact that Mom wants to be friends rather than a parent tells me that they didn’t do a good job raising these kids and now the chickens have come home to roost…SURPRISE pikachu face 😮🤨🙄

He has no business in his adult stepdaughter medical choices. NONE. Her body is her own. He has no business talking about her body. He can only control what he does with his, and he admits he failed with his own. He has say in who lives in his house. If it is even his house. If his step daughter even lives there. This video commenter has no business telling another adult woman what that she should or shouldn't being doing with her life (as long as it is legal). I don't believe mess is all moms fault either.

Something doesn’t sit right with me about his post. I heard a lot of finger pointing to the mother but nothing about what HE did to raise these kids. Was he around? Did he have any influence on them growing up? What was his parenting style like? I get that bad kids grow up to be bad adults but he acts like he had nothing to do with it? What man is okay with his wife going to the clubs without him? I think of it this way, what if his wife’s behavior was a symptom of a mental illness and he sat back making judgments instead of stepping up. This doesn’t smell right to me. IMO
