I have a feeling that trying to do a pentagon challenge with national teams would be a LOT harder than doing the challenge at the club level. At least at the club level you have more ability to bring in players and build your team. You can't do that anywhere near as well at the national level.

Artur Souza plays for the team I support in Brazil, he scored a Hat trick recently in Brazil's most important youth cup semifinal, after that he scored in his debut for the senior squad! I think he can be a european level striker in the future for sure!

Really loving the series! When you go to South America, maybe try Independiente de Avellaneda for the Libertadores. They have the record for most cups won, but the last time they won it was in 1984 and currently they are in a huge crisis, going to the second division in 2013, and barely avoiding going to second division again past year. It would be very interesting to see you give the team its former glory again!

If I had to guess, Tom's going to be targeting the Americas next, either North or South. Meaning he either has to go through American and Mexican giants to win the Champions Cup, or going through Brazilian and Argentinian giants to win the Copa Libertadores. Neither of which will be easy, but with his Continental C License, he basically has the Americas as his oyster... if they take him seriously, that is.

Great to see you repping the Korean league. I actually live in Korea literally around the corner from Ansan's beautiful 35,000 seater WA stadium. Unfortunately they only get 200 fans each match as their the second worst team in all of Korea's perfessional leagues haha. But their badge is cool 😉

I played as this South Korean team for my pentagon save. They were my first club & got them promoted to 1st division & kept them in the league for 2nd season before moving to turkey 1st division

If you move to concacaf , your best bet would be a canadian team that plays in mls. Higher budget than cpl sides, and you participate in the canadian championship where the winner gets qualified to the chanpions cup

Before going to Concacaf I would try SOuth American clubs first, it’s a tougher job, but after that you could apply for top tier Mexican or MLS teams and have a significant advantage, if you go to teams like Mazatlan, you’re gonna have a very hard time

To add to my point, in South America you could realistically win the Libertadores with teams from Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil; in Concacaf is either a top 5 team in Mexico or the outright best in MLS.

@@yuriddp43 If this was about real football you’re 100%. In FM I think the two top Argentinian clubs, Nacional (URU), Atlético Nacional (COL), Peñarol (URU), Colo Colo (CHI). And maybe some other clubs can have the decent enough reputation and finances to make a push and try to compete.

That's honestly impossible outside of South America and Europe No matter how good you get in Africa, Asia and North America there's always a ceiling Edit: I think you can do it if you manage a Saudi club though, and I've actually seen Al Hilal win the CWC in one of my saves
