The best way to enjoy Venom is to remove all szenes where Venom appears. Then it becomes a movie about Tom Hardy having a mental breakdown.

In this example, we could see the green morph suit fight on the set and then Deadpool could step in frame like "what the shitballs is this?!" and start shouting for the director and telling the CGI people to do their job. If done right, it could've been hilarious.

My problem with Incredibles 2 is that it's a carbon-copy of the first one without the deep, grounded themes, with a gender-swap, new supers with lazy designs, a villain whose actions don't make any sense, a forgettable score, cheap laughs, and a climax that takes itself too seriously. Solid movie, but mediocre sequel.

To be fair, there was no need to fix something that wasn't broken. The Incredibles 2 was guaranteed to be successful, so why bother putting a lot of effort into it? It was a very unsubtle cash grab, but I don't mind too much. It was entertaining and thrilled my child heart.

I hated it tbh, the new superheroes had lame asf designs like they didn't even follow the 60s theme, they were just generic heroes. Plus, I thought the whole storyline with Elastagirl was very boring and predictable. The best moments were with the rest of the family. I just wish that they'd kept the whole family together rather than splitting them up because that is what makes the whole thing unique, the sweet/funny family moments were what made the first film so loveable.

@animationstation10055 жыл бұрын
@@killua3325 I agree, Venom is silly in the comics. However, if they did give it an R rating, then they would be able to go into much darker storylines and arcs that can please the die-hard fans who have been waiting for years for Venom to come to the big screen. Also, if they did give it an R Rating, they could've made a great superhero movie w/ a few horror elements to give it more wide-spread appeal. I love how, when evaluating Venom, one of the first observations made is "It'd be cool if Spider-Man went through this kind of character arc". That just so perfectly sums up why Venom as a concept doesn't have much without Spider-Man and why he's, like, his villain and stuff. Venom without Spidey is just robbing the man of his entire pathos. It'd be like setting out to write Batman, but left out the part, where his parents got murdered or Spider-Man himself without Uncle Ben without replacing it with any sort of equivalent for either example. It's not just that Venom plays off Spidey well. His literal enitre character is rooted in how the character interacted with it. Hell, Eddy Brock himself also gains alot from the story of Spider-Man having had the suit before. True, Venom can go solo, but that has to be built up to after the initial storyline is already done. Without it, why even call it Venom? Just make it literally anything else at that point. Just a waste of a concept.
@tananatana40114 жыл бұрын
Dude, the Venom has PLENTY of stories where there's not even a mention of Spider man. He's his own character now. He grew as a character. Hell Punisher was a Spiderman villain at first and look at him now. Deadpool was a random Cable villain and now he's one of the most iconic Marvel characters. I see Venom as an individual anti hero more than just a Spider Man villain. Lethal protectors is the best example of Venom story standing on it's own and whenever someone says: "vEnOm nEeDs SpIdErMaN" I vomit inside my mouth
@AlluMan964 жыл бұрын
@@tananatana4011 I get that. I even acknowledge as much in the comment I made. It's just that I consider it ill-advised to start from there with his character. Lethal Protector works off of an established baseline that was previously set. A continuity and history for the character. In order to start Venom solo, you need to drastically alter the set of events, because huge strokes of his character pathos vanish with it.

Yeah, I think he misunderstood Venom's whole "neutral antiherioc" character, it only states that no matter how bad you believe someone to be there's always someone much worse which explains why Venom is an outcast on his planet compared to the likes of his leader Riot who showed no regard for anyone, and was stated to be stronger
@hansmatheson59764 жыл бұрын
Eh there’s plenty of huge losers that are massively powerful especially in comics...that said... ...with the recent Ultimate Ultra-Murder Carnage symbiote comic series or... KNULL THE SYMBIOTE GOD/LORD OF THE ABYSS with his fuckin ALL-BLACK NECROSWORD being exactly OP as “fuckin ALL-BLACK NECROSWORD” sounds...you may be right...

@Emilia Barzini yeah, but that is assuming all opinions are of equal value. An opinion closer to objectivity is better than something purely subjective, since you may dislike something but recognise it's good, but you simply had experiences and mental wiring that make you dislike it. Although in a business standpoint, something people will like more is better than that of objective value.

In the Canon Marvel Universe, Earth-616: Captain America's shield is made of proto-Adamantium, an alloyed mixture of Adamantium and Vibranium, unique to Marvel Earth. Arguably one of the most indestructible items ever created by humanity. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Earth-199999: Captain America's shield is composed of a Vibranium-alloy with remarkable properties of durability and energy redirection. While it is not as indestructible as Captain America's Earth-616 version, it can take a strike from Mjolnir and survive. Vibranium is an extraterrestrial metal of unknown origin. There are two types of Vibranium: Wakandan Vibranium, which absorbs vibration and dispels kinetic energy Antartic Vibranium which disrupts metallic structures, including Adamantium and is known by another name: anti-metal Adamantium is a synthetically created metal alloy discovered in an effort to recreate Captain America's shield's uniquely indestructible nature. While the scientists were unable to recreate what was dubbed proto-adamantium, they did discover the next best thing, Adamantium, the most indestructible metal ever synthesized on Earth. Wolverine's claws are composed of Adamantium and able to cut through almost any known material. Proto-Adamantium This is the original Adamantium created by Dr. MacLain. Proto-Adamantium is the official name for the metal that makes up Captain America's Shield.[2] It has never been recreated and is the absolutely most indestructible item in all of existence. It has only ever been damaged or destroyed five times: by Doctor Doom with the powers he stole from the Beyonder[12], by Thanos with the power of the Infinity Gauntlet[13], by Molecule Man and his total control over matter[14], by Thor wielding the Odin-Force [15]and by the Serpent after augmenting his strength with the fear of people from all over the world.[16] True Adamantium Also known as Primary Adamantium, this is an attempt at the recreation of Proto-Adamantium. This is the Adamantium present in Wolverine. It is nearly as strong/durable, but unlike Proto-Adamantium, Primary Adamantium is possible to be reproduced. Only beings with godlike powers (such as Rune King Thor) or with strong magnetic powers (like Magneto)[17] can manipulate Primary Adamantium. Otherwise, it is completely indestructible to all forms of attack. Being this strong, it is very rare and expensive to create/manipulate and is top secret in the US government, though it has shared it with some of their "allies". Once liquid Adamantium cools and hardens, it can never be manipulated again,[1] although it can be destroyed by Antarctic Vibranium, which dissolves all metals. Secondary Adamantium This is much easier to work with, making it much more cost effective though at the expense of its strength. Secondary Adamantium also called Adamantium Steel, was created retroactively after too many instances of the supposedly-unbreakable metal Adamantium getting broken were written. Someone with considerable superhuman strength, such as Thor, can break it or warp it by fully exerting their strength.[11] Adamantium Beta Wolverine's skeleton was originally reinforced with True Adamantium. His mutant Healing Factor not only allowed him to survive the process, but it also induced a molecular change in the metal.[2] Adamantium Beta functions like True Adamantium but does not inhibit the biological processes of bone.[2] This fact only became apparent after Magneto forcibly extracted the Adamantium from Wolverine's skeleton.[18] On occasions where Wolverine lost his mutant regeneration ability, he was gradually poisoned by the Adamantium each time. marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Adamantium

That was my biggest disappointment when the movie started (I hadn't seen any trailers for the movie beforehand). Helen (Mrs. Incredible) already established in the first movie that she can trust her kids, and Jack Jack has powers, and we already implied at the end that the Incredibles could easily defeat the Underminer with their new ability to work together and save the city again. For fourteen years, we moved on with our lives and see ourselves grow and overcome difficulties in our lives. So maybe now we can see what their lives are like after the city witnesses the defeat of Syndrome and the Underminer, and how Bob redeems himself from the disaster that he faced from the press following the banning of superheroes, right? But what does the Incredibles 2 do? It picks up directly after the first movie, and immediately, everything goes wrong during the fight with the Underminer, and the government and public hates the Incredibles again. And now, Bob has to prove himself again that he can be trusted by Helen. And now the heroes have to prove themselves to the public that they are good for society. So why was everything just swept away from the first movie? Why couldn't we see the characters age in maturity like we have? Why does every character, like Dash and Violet, have to go through the same conflicts that they overcame in the first movie, which the sequel takes place immediately after? For example, Violet overcame her self-consciousness and shyness and was able to ask Tony to the movies in the first movie, so why was everything that was implied to us in the first movie just swept away with "Tony saw Violet without her mask and now we have to make Violet overcome the same thing again"? That's just my thoughts. Maybe I got something wrong. Either way, I want to hear what you guys think.
