Nova, so many of us understand panic attacks. I get serious social anxiety around other people, especially when I'm not expecting company. Even if I love the people visiting, I like my normalcy and regular schedule 🤗 ❤️

I can relate. I have panic attacks stressing out about the possibility of panic attacks. It's like a vicious cycle where we create our anxiety by worrying about possible anxiety. The older I get the more I can tell myself to chill and breathe my way through it. It's so overwhelming sometimes but adult coloring books or building Legos help me when I am in my head and a mess!

@@19holly19 I HATE when they start looping like that! It's worse when none of my tools work and I know what's happening, but the anxiety still crosses into a panic attack. I feel so stupid driving to the emergency room and telling them that I am dying, I know I am not, but I cannot shut it down, and none of my tools or "pharmaceuticals" are working. I pace, sometimes for hours, and am surprised I have not worn grooves in my carpeting. Worse is I have few family members left and have chased off any friends with my Manic Episodes. So I keep getting older and more alone making them even harder to deal with. Stupid "Mental Health" people don't realize that drugs cannot fix everything. I am not built on sliding scales of "1 to 10" ... Those symptoms change daily, sometimes hourly...

Awwww, bless her. I also have anxiety. I hate no being " in charge" of situations, it makes me feel out of control and I panic. I just moved across country 16hr straight driving... well ok with 4 pee stops Several detours road works, and terrifying wouldn't lock toilet door when I really had to be in the middle of nowhere but somehow across for a flop house (seriously - middle of damn farmland, nothing for mile except the toilet block across the road form creepy rape house). I was so proud when I eventually made it without freaking out. Until I got to the hotel and hopped in the shower. My whole body just started vibrating and buzzing. I then feel asleep for 14 hours - I think I overloaded. anyway that was a lot of waffle to say - I feel you, I get it,
