Yep, sounds like people overhyped Acaster so much that it sabotaged him in your viewing experience. He's actually the catalyst that got me hooked on Taskmaster to begin with. I discovered his 4-part Netflix special and loved it. Then I started finding clips of him competing on Taskmaster. And after a while, I started to get an understanding of the show and then began watching whole episodes until I finally completely jumped into the deep end by starting from episode 1. And I've never looked back since! :D

my grievance with transition lenses placement in the tier list is that they should probably be moved to the probably wrong tier. before the advent of websites where you could get prescription lenses cheaply online by plugging in your prescription, getting a pair of glasses without insurance was usually expensive. many eye insurances, especially the cheaper ones, did not cover getting prescription sunglasses, so unless you wanted to pay out of pocket for a pair of sunglasses your options were to forgo getting sunglasses at all, or getting transition lenses. further adding to this, in households where multiple people needed prescription lenses, the costs for multiple pairs of prescription sunglasses out of pocket added up and could become financially burdensome

@@aspzx This is a part of the reason it's cringe; many people have no idea that there is a difference between astronomy and astrology. Astronomy is a science; astrology is a pseudoscience. I am not majoring in, or studying, astrology in college, that is not a thing. (The only exception is in terms of studying history. Astrology is a part of the history of astronomy, so it does briefly get talked about).
