I legit agree with her personality. She is uggghh, you put it all here. Funny thing many people like her disrespectful personality, I understand that we need to have a character who doesn't into the Traveller all the time, but she is overdoing it. I kinda annoyed how she gets thousands of screentime where she just being like that. Thank you for point this out. We gets many videos hating on zhongli, tartaglia, or raiden regarding their personalities but not yae miko's.

I see how people highly misunderstood her character in the story quest. Yae greatly cares for the people of Inazuma (since she's a shrine maiden), and especially Youkai of Hakushin clan that were her relatives. The reason why she was so condescending towards Youhei is because he wasn't genuine, which was kind of obvious. The last bit of quest was her setting the entire ritual for her long-gone friends to see Inazuma one last time which redeemed her character.

@@DavidMrAbramovich Yes, that's why some people don't really suit with character because she lets that misunderstanding stay in the air with the additional arrogant vibe. Being not so into the Traveller is good, even better I guess, but being arrogant and so high all the time is what starting to get to the nerve. Also, if it's not because of her, we might consider Raiden as a tyrannical-kind of person, not a childish person and gorou being a general, not a fluffy doggie like how the community see now. If she appears only untill the end of the Archon's quest, that's fine. But, when she starts to appear everywhere, people started to get the hints.

@@raima270I personally love how she played down some of the characters that you mentioned. It really gets then off their high-horse and removes the unnecessary tension for the player. It also gives some ideas to the community that aren't necessarily bad. She's really chill in almost every scene we get to see her, and Yae is rather amused by everything than being arrogant. But I do get what you're saying, her character is definitely not for everyone to like.
