At 44 minutes, when Michael's Gishath connects, he flips 16 cards. He then asks, "technically they all come in at the same time, right? or do I choose the order?" Gishath has double strike at this point and first strike damage would actually cause the first 8 cards to enter, and THEN the other 8. The only dinosaurs from the first trigger was Verdant Sun's Avatar and Rampaging Ferocidons. They see each other, he doesn't gain life because of Ferocidons and takes 1 damage for Verdant Suns. The next 8 damage causes these dinosaurs to come out: Marauding Raptor, Snapping Sailback, Cherished Hatchling, Wakening Sun's Avatar, and Raging Regisaur. Rampaging Ferocidons triggers first because it is already on the board, and hits him for another 6; Again, he doesn't gain life from Verdant Sun's either. Then Marauding raptor hits them all, killing the cherished hatchling, and giving the Sailback a counter. So Michael took 1 more life than he should've because rampaging ferocidon is "another creature enters, take 1 damage" not all creatures that enter. It doesn't count itself. As well as missing a 1/1 counter being placed onto the Sailback, and not properly doing the first strike order with the remaining double strike.

Just to say, tokens do in fact hit the graveyard then cease to exist. All permanents that are destroyed or sacrificed go to the graveyard first then finish with resolution. 44:22 No, sir. They don’t enter all at the same time. Gishath is a bonkers card if you can set up the right dinos for it, but in all scenarios I find that Zacama, Primal Calamity is a better commander to pilot the deck, with Gishath in the 99. Zacama untaps all the lands when you play him and you can drop and swing out with gishath that turn still! With all the mana-boosters already in the deck it AND with all of Zacama's abilities to deal with creatures and enchantments it's crazy helpful. Great content as always. Wort was second deck I ever built, loved seeing it go off. Turn 1 Lackey got me hyped and it did not disappoint.

As a tribe, I like playing changeling based Scarecrows. You can throw in a few lords, and conveniently, there is a Knight Scarecrow, so Haakon and Scarecrone can combo off together without Maskwood getting an invite. Changeling Automaton is better, but it's nice to also be able to run another Scarecrow that isn't strictly a bad card, even if it's only value is found in it's low MV and sub-types. The nice thing about Reaper King is that you can run the best wipes you can find to delay things until you get The King out, at which point you can start blowing stuff up whenever a changeling comes out. If you can hold a wipe or two over people's heads, nobody will want to advance their boards, so when the Reaper King is out, you can blow up whatever they did put out, IE lands. Hard to know how many wipes you need in a deck like this though. I also like Haakon as a combo piece in my Golgari deck, it's hard to find good Knights though, stuff like Liliana's Standard Bearer to draw a heap of cards with no drawbacks, is it so much to ask? I mean, Midnight Reaper is fine, but it costs life too. Anyways, Scarecrow Tribal is great, it's also extremely late period David Bowie Tribal fwiw.

Hey guys, just wanted to say that when you got the Dino commander's trigger off that first time, it should've been 2 separate instances of 8 and 8, not a singular 16 cards. This means some of the Dinos would've entered play at different times and had a slightly different outcome. I don't blame you guys for not noticing because I didn't even realize it until Lynch was dead. Just wanted to point it out in case anyone missed it. Double Strike is important for mechanics like this.

Edgar for the win!!! I love that this episode was an all tribal commander game. I agree that one episode should be an all pre-con game. Not to step on Command Zone's toes. A December holiday episode should be making each other deck. It should involve cash and post in the episode.
