Yea...and this was not the case where a misplay doesn't effect the game...That's why you should always have a counter/token for anything that changes the stats and abilities of a card.

Bro, Larry is king of decks. Hes commander isnt that crazy, but he puts up any deck with such unique synergies and always outsmart/outplay opponents with such finess. Love Larry, hes my favorite of this channel!

Larry should have died on the swing from the Aragorn player though. His untapped non-commander Sauron had decayed from the Ghoul's Night Out which means it shouldn't have been able to block the 4/4. He was swung at for 14 damage and had 14 life so he should have died on that attack.

I believe there was a misplay. At 27:59, Manny attacks Larry and One of the creatures is blocked by Sauron, the Dark Lord. Sauron had decayed (Can't block). Larry should have been dead.

Ghouls' Night Out (23:23) revives creatures and gives the "Decay", meaning they can't block and must be sacrificed if it attacked. Sauron, the Dark Lord has Decay, so he can't block. So Larry should have died to the Riders or Rohan (28:10)

Love the video, but I caught a game altering error: Larry should not have been able to block with his Sauron, the Dark Lord at 28:05 because he returned it to the battlefield with Ghouls’ Night Out at 23:28 which gives these creatures Decayed (can’t block, when attacks sacrifice at end of combat). This block prevented 4 damage which would’ve been lethal.

Larry should have died at 28:09. Sauron, the dark lord had decayed from the reanimation spell, so it couldn't block. Still loved this episode, excited for more!

If i'm understanding correct, Larry should of died from the full swing? The Sauron he blocked with for 4 damage (would be lethal) was decayed due to the card he used to bring him to the field?

Ghouls' Night Out gives the creatures decayed. Larry's Sauron the Dark Lord he gets off it isn't able to block. At 28:08 Larry blocks with it preventing 4 damage from Manny's Riders of Rohan. Because of this block Larry survives at 4, without it he (presumably) dies.

great game ... but am i Wrong? Sauron the Darklord came into play with Ghuls Night out at 23:28 and had Decayed he couldn't Block at 28:04 with it and would have been ousted with exact lethal? (if nothing else in hand would have safed him)

Didn't Larry's blocker that saved him from Manny's attack have decayed with it being from Ghouls Night Out ( 23:30 )? Which means he couldn't have blocked the 4/4 attacker ( 28:05 ) and would have died?

SPOILERS: Bit of a game-altering error here. Larry should have died at Manny's combat 28:00 in. Sauron had Decayed from his previous Ghouls Night Out so he couldn't have blocked there. Manny had just enough damage to punch him for lethal. Still, it was a fun game to watch through! I like seeing a bunch of early politics in games. This was a very fun episode!

28:20 Larry cheated blocking with Dark Lord Sauron; he had Decayed from its Ghouls Night Out summon, thus it could not block and that was game for him. (Whether it was intentional or not is anyone's guess, easy to miss seeing as none of the other 3 players remembered.)

I have a question about Boros Charm. If Vahan stole the Orc Army after Boros Charm resolved giving the army indestructible, would it have kept the indestructible until end of turn to survive the Blasphemous Act? Having that blocker wouldn't have saved him, but Larry would have had to send the final creature at Vahan instead of Lynch to get the kill.

So I am pretty sure that Larry actually should have been dead at 28:00. Manny full attacked him and he blocked with sauron, the dark lord but it has decay from the reanimation spell so he would not be able to block it. Even if it knocked him to 1 life he wouldn't have been able to use his ancient tomb to cast sepchural primordial. Overall great game though thanks for the post!

44:16 Nah, that's smoke. Like, standard is inflating the price, but she's gonna be atleast $30 forever. Targeting the Sheoldred was the correct play, the misplay was all in the boros charm target. But hey I probably would've missed it too, it's hard enough to calculate damage when combat phase comes, it's even harder to factor in spells while it's still on an opponents turn. So ironic that Larry was at exactly 4 though XD
