There are few things I would add: 1. Measure your success in outcome. It's not the number of books that you read, but number of meaningful changes that you bring about in your life that matters. 2. Focus on interest. Read the books that are deeply interesting to you and help you with problems that you perceive need to be solved. You don't have to know everything about everything, read what grasps you. P.S: Tolle's books have probably changed me the most out of everything I've ever read. I'd also put them to the top of the list for getting out of the bubble of our own thoughts and perceptions.

I lucked out and have always enjoyed reading, but... Two minutes a day - 14 minutes a week - is *not* gonna burn through about a book a week... (350 books in 364 weeks). Using multiple "grabs" of 2-minute chunks in a day is reasonable, but that's not what "two minutes a day" means.

Is partially true Even if you read and you spread this trough a few months period, almost sure you will not recall what you've read at the beggining. The approach should be by chapters at least, and you still have to try to understand what you read and maybe take some notes etc ...

the first 5 minutes were intriguing. Then the topic changed to money and time. And that's where it goes wrong. Life is not about -more- money. It's about happiness, challenge, satisfaction. I work in my own vegetable garden because it makes me happy. Not because it's more expensive in the supermarket. I play tennis because I find it challenging. Because I try to win from my friends. And not because I want to become world champion. And indeed: in the time that I'm playing tennis, I could have earned 20 dollars. But what good is that to me?

The irony in your statement is that without money you don’t own a vegetable garden, fertilizers, soils, seeds, water or a water hose. Without money you don’t own a tennis racket, tennis shoes, tennis clothes and you won’t have access to a nice club to play tennis. At some point you won’t be able to work, do you have enough money for that?

They do have a spiritual aspect and lean toward how the mind works and our relationship toward God and man.

We don't learn from what we read, but from the time we spend thinking about it. Don't get caught up in counting books, focus on contemplation. One book deeply understood is worth more than a hundred barely skimmed. A great book often needs months to truly digest through contemplation, debate, and discussion before moving to the next. Many today have become reading machines (Social media, short books, ...), consuming content without reflection. True mastery comes when you can discuss and write about what you've learned. At 90, you should be able to say 'I may have read only 10 books, but I spent decades thinking about them.

I sue to hate reading books ... main reason I couldn't understand the benefits, here are three benefits I discovered, reading is like exercise it improves all areas of your life, all you need is two minutes a day. For example person saying they can't commit to X habit right now - they end up just finding more excuses. If something isn't important right now, then you might never do it. If you ever read atomic habits - you already know you start from 2 minutes a day, this starts in everything in life, not just reading books. you learn to meditate regularly - by on breathe . find a routine, find gaps to read . example every time I was on public transport - thought to myself listen to audio book just for two minutes, if you listen to an audio book for 2 mins its not like you are going to be smart... small consistent daily choices ... one one hand small repeated things daily are the only things that matter , when things are easy to do its also easy not to do - e.g. when waiting for someone. 3:32 calculation 20 books a year - by increasing slowly ... Imagine how much more money you would earn, how fit you would look, again its easy to ignore those . Success is born through not massive actions but small choices. Okay to recap 1) don't wait for things - start now 2) find small 2 minute gaps to read, books are solutions to your problems "guess what there is a book for each of these problems, growing up these are the C of reading. "He always made me feel special and appreciate, he smiled , brung up the title of the book, showed me how to win friends and influence people. Dale C book was one of the , after that experience I kept Third benefit , the book is a mentor, when I wanted to learn how to make more money I looked around and , once I stated reading I learned Robert K has a book in money When you read powerful books , its also impossible to read the mindset of millionaires then act like a poor person through your entire life, for example before got to reading I would go store to store just save af ew bucks on my shopping, or Then I read secrets of millionaire mind Taught me if spend 5dollars spend Successful people would think how spend 1hr much more money. Feel like I am getting off track here, what I am trying to say is that the book is mentor To recap Reading is best habit 2) Book is way to solve problems 3) Book is your mentor Questions about book Pick a book - that would solve problem - Two, best way to read a book - is audio version - try trial the first 45minutes see if its worth while Like to try audio books - but I struggle with audio books Audio books are on your phone Pick a book which is in story format 5) Make pick book What's the personal development book everyone needs to read? "the power of now be eckhart tolle" - we need to learn how to control or minds Can you imagine this was our state? Check out the power of now, every problem can be chased to voice in head which never shuts up, realise you have a crazy room mate in your head
