Hello Electroheads! Thanks for watching this review. Just to clear up a couple of common questions: -Don't be fooled by the 250w motor. This scooter has great torque, is quick off the line and can easily power a heavy fella like me up hills. -700w is the PEAK power, not the average. I messed up my lines in the video. Apologies for the confusion! Check out Electroheads.com if you want to buy the 8TEV C12 - we'll always have the best prices and the best customer service.

Way safer than most scooter. more people with balance issues can jump right on these tadpole style scooters and trikes

For me 3 wheels didn't work, I didn't find it stable or comfortable enough in corners at low speed and prefer 2 wheels or 4

@@JakeBox75 i'm currently teaching 3 young able bodied men how to bike/scooter . there are lots of adults out there that never learned . 3 wheels is proving to be better than 2 in these cases . Yep , 4 is most stable but hard to find and afford. also tadpole vs delta is another consideration .

My next scooter...but... My concerns is the motor power. Im afraid im going to be pushing it up the hill with this 250W. Why not making it 500W - it would be perfect then. Edit: I was let a ride on this scooter and my impression is that the engine is just tad stronger than my first scooter which is Pure Air 350W. The brakes are killers which is big plus. Steering is a bit funny - it doesnt want to take turns but I think its a matter of riders adjustment (I only used for like 3mins). Board is quite wide which is comfortable. Its surprisingly light as well I was sure it s going to be heavier so when I pulled it up I had this massive jump in my hand if you know what I mean. All in all its nice to ride but for £2.2k ... it doesnt justifuy the price. I mean engine is small, battery is larger 2.5 than my Pure Air and it has 2 really good brakes and large wheels. A grand would be a max I would pay for this.

In Belgium we have the start-up Taito that kinda builds the same model but I think of even better quality.

2,200 pounds you must be kidding and with a tiny 250w motor the first hill and you'll be pushing.

Not too keen on the slight rear mudguard split design; can see lots of water and mud spraying up from that angle.

Love LDN shots! I'm biking and cycling from west London over Vauxhall bridge to Elephant&Castle. recognised some of places. Consider to include some lovely LDN Eye shots from one of bridge in a night time. Haven't seen any reviews about electric scooters or bicycles in dark hours highlighting any built LED for visibility and cool looks.

Awesome but 2 grand. Phew. A big risk when it’s illegal to ride everywhere in the UK.
@e-scooterguy2 жыл бұрын
That’s why people stick to cars or just buy less safe budget scooters which compounds safety issues. Legalisation is the key! Wish they would hurry up! 😀

Another great video and the launch of the marketplace is a welcome idea. But damn a line from this video highlights the one thing I miss about London when it comes to e bikes and scooters "If there was a hill in 10 miles"... where I live every journey tends to include at least a couple of hills that defeat any e scooter with 500w or less or force crazy pedalling on e bikes that doesn't have at least a 500w but ideally 750w motor.

1:39 _"A peak of 250W and a 700W average"._ What on earth does that mean?
@thomasputko10802 жыл бұрын
Im guessing now. Its 700W motor which gives away on mode 1 250W and on mode 3 700W. They need to clarify though as 250W is not enough for anything.

This video gave me the "horror movie" vibe. You are quite pleased, having fun and entertained; you are really enjoying the thing... but deep inside you know something is going to happen, you can feel it, you know it, you wait for it in uneasynees, and then... It happens... The PRICE is revealed!!!!!!😅😅😅 J.K. Great video. Great device, but a little bit on the pricy side.

Lots of positives to this review, although was this the first time the IP-rating protecting from potential battery fires was mentioned. I’m not remembering that coming up on earlier reviews of other models, or maybe I missed it?

Thanks! It's something that I always mention (in my Techtron review I made a huge deal about it!), and we even made a whole video about it recently. Something we take very seriously.

I have rode 2 scooters B12 and B10 of this same company. Absolutely INF***insane reliability. Insane. As reliable as a Toyota Hilux pickup. Nothing I ever rode compares to it. With these tools you don't wanna be stuck on your way to work or back, from a night out or anything else especially as they don't allow these on TFL anymore. This one looks very cool as well. 8TEV design scooters that don't look like a fucking plastic box but actually look like a skateboard or a bicycle.
@zlepesh2 жыл бұрын
Comparing it to a landrover defender is good, but I think they even deserve a Toyota Hilux pickup reliability. They never brake. Never default.

Too pricey for what it is imo. Most people I know use a scooter because it is convenient and environmentally friendly way to travel . Also on a two wheel scoot the weight is just right to carry up a flight of stairs if you live in a small flat without any lifts. This would be better if it was around 1k.

Hi, I need some advice about a second hand electric scooter. A friend of mine is selling his kaabo wolf warrior with 500km . My question is; is 500km a lot ?
@thomasputko10802 жыл бұрын
No mate 500km is not. I have pure air and I started to notice minor distance degradation after 1000km. Add another 500km and range drop is significantly more - like 30%.

Not public roads yet, but definitely you can ride them on any ground you own.

Superb handeling and a dream to drive... CARVING! But nobody will use it for exactly the same reasons you will almost never see a Yamaha Niken in the wild... It just looks too weird and I doubt the average consumer will go for it, even though it is inherently better.... Remember Betamax?

Unfortunately UK law and traffic regulations lagging behind technology and is archaic. Recently I've been in many EU countries and I was absolutely stunt how many of different models of electric scooters, bikes monoweels, skateboards and so on were on the road. They are legal there (under certain conditions of course) and are considered brilliant way of green transport. UK decided to ban them altogether and prosecute those who ride them! Shame on you UK!
