Ive had mine 3 months now and can only agree with your findings. Only thing is wish they'd address is some sort of suspension in the front.

Interesting idea, would be fun to see how this would effect the handling. It would definitely push the price of the bike up and also be another component that needs regular servicing though!

@@UpriseBikes Hi. I have to be honest the extra servicing would be worth it. I'm used to riding a Moulton so the hard ride of the Brompton was quite a drastic change. Almost like the old bone shakers of the 50s.

Only thing we could suggest would be fitting the largest volume tyres the Brompton can accommodate, and running them near the lower end of their PSI range, should provide a bit more comfort but you do run a higher risk of punctures.
@paulrichmond97205 ай бұрын
@UpriseBikes Thanks for that, but to be honest because of the tight tolerances on the bike and the cost of new tyres I doubt the extra comfort would be worth the outlay. I'll keep trying and hope I adjust to the harder ride. 😊

I think that would add unnecessary weight, the steel forks on the cheaper ones are probably a bit less comfortable than the titanium ones on the P and T lines, maybe play around with the front air pressure a bit

Thanks! its a pretty sweet bike!

Spooky. No blinking eyes. Teleprompters take away the spontaneity of review. Otherwise, this is a very well made video. All of the comes from a 75 year old lifetime Canadian cyclist and Brompton owner.

It has enough wires for 4 bikes

You'll find that's the case with a lot of eBikes, especially ones with independent displays and remotes, The Brompton's seem more prominent because they aren't internally routed but allow the frame to fold in the same way the non assisted models do, its still pretty neatly organised!

@ my Gocycle has no exposed cables and is inline price wise with Brompton.
@DenkyManner16 күн бұрын
@falconreconeight so what, though? A bike is for transport, not for looking at. And internal cables are a nightmare for maintenance.
@falconreconeight15 күн бұрын
@@DenkyManner I ride a bicycle and I've never had to even think about wires. The price is comparable and it's a much more stable ride. Don't get me wrong, Brompton's are cool I just have the wire issue.

Love it or loathe it! I have a non-electric and love it so much. I hope to have an electric version in my old age ❤️

Great to hear you love your Brompton, but don't wait till your older to enjoy the benefits of the electric version, its a great ride that lets you ride further and for longer!
