I'm am SO HERE for this redemption arc ZeRo is on! It brings me so much joy to see zero happier and in this more positive place. He was my introduction to the esports scene towards the end of sm4sh. Even though I have discovered a lot of new content creators since then, I have never come across another person who I enjoy watching more than Zero. He actually helped me save years of my life. Prior to covid, I smoked a pack of cigarettes a day. Then, I moved on to chain smoking 50mg salt nicotine out of a vape whenever I had the chance. 2 weeks into quarantine, I attempted to quit nicotine for the 400th time. At that time, zero started his playthrough of FF7 remake and FFX. Quiting cold turkey was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Its almost impossible to describe. I sat there losing my mind, trapped in a hell that felt never ending. You can't remember what normal life is supposed to feel like. Every day feels like a new shapeshifting reality. Every train of thought or course of action somehow magically ends at nicotine. As your brain goes through its nornal processes, through logic, all roads lead to a cigarette or a vape. My solution: think nothing and do nothing. When it comes to beating addiction, it all comes down to time. How long can you say NO. The only thing that kept me sane was meditating while zero took me on a ride with through his Final Fantasy adventures and escapades. If it weren't for Zero, I would never have been able to conquer my addiction. I've been clean for 3 years in spite of living with someone who smokes 2 packs a day. I have no desire to go back and never will. I am so grateful for Zero. I'm so happy to see him come back healthier than ever and actively trying to make a positive impact on the world again. He changed my life. I know he still has the power to help others too. Much love ZeRo! Thank you.

In the court of law; the TO’s decision to ban a player for simply participating in your tournament would be dismissed. The player is not doing anything illegally, nor did he commit a crime or have suspicion in scheming. So there would be no root of negligence to attach to that player. Clearly these are individuals biased towards you running tournaments and it would be considered unlawful in the court of law.

If that's the case, what difference does it make between the actual TOs and Orgs in the current Smash scenes and criminal mafias? I mean, yes, they aren't powerful nor move any illegal substances, but they're the same in menacing thirds involved into harming them (in this case, their carrer and reputation) if they don't follow orders. And that's where this becames depressing, especially when the new members of the community or the most influenciable ones have that wish in becoming a Pro Smash player or being someone in the scene are threathened by these figures (not just a player, but a commentator, TO or any other important role). Some of those may say: "It's because there should be consecuences, it's part of life". But the menaced can also think: "There's also consecuences for you, too". That's plain intimidation and people need to understand that being a pro-gamer isn't that profitable unless you do something original that none others like HBox, Maximillian or even Mr Beast has done.

Zero, it's possible that it's a bit of a "fear" game. I.e. everyone is afraid of what everyone else thinks, but in reality no one actually cares. Now maybe those sponsors have privately stated otherwise, or established that kind of precedent - but if they haven't, then I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that sponsors are the issue. Another option to consider is inviting participants who aren't beholden to sponsors, like other KZbinrs or Twitch streamers. (Definitely a great way to stick it to them if need be!) And of course, large prize pools and publicity are always strong motivation for people to overcome whatever mental obstacles might be there. Just my 2 cents.

I’ve seen and experienced bad TOs abuse their power for the “sake of the communities safety” and end up making unneeded, and more often worse decisions just cause someone doesn’t fall in line, or like what someone follows, thinks, and even some people they interact with. Majority of the community has a problem with their emotions, and can’t seem to leave theirs out of important decision making. Just cause people want to interact or support you zero, doesn’t make them the bad guy, everyone has reasons to justify their whys on any subject or matter whether or not we agree with their reasonings. Banned doesn't mean gone, after all. But usually these bans (especially long term/life time bans) usually come from stating and standing for what you believe. It's what people are afraid would happen to them if they compete here, after all. So in a sense, the "Banned Wagon" of smash is something peculiar that doesn't really mean you're a bad person.

I'm with you. I think Zero makes good content, and I don't think he should be forbidden from making KZbin videos and tournaments. Hopefully he never again repeats the mistakes he made in the past and, from the uneducated outside, it looks like he did make a big effort to improve himself. I fully support that. All that being said...yeah, he got banned for a legitimate reason. Ignoring the hypocrisy of how long he was banned versus others with imo much worse accusations, Zero still fucked up majorly so he's not a completely innocent victim. Embracing the banned status kinda feels like he's saying that he did nothing wrong which would be a disappointing stance. I'd rather he move forward with a positive message and be an example of how to grow from times when you've been in the wrong, rather than anything that can be looked at as celebrating your previous bad behavior. I'm assuming Zero is going to take a more positive outlook so I'll continue to watch/subscribe/like. He later fixed that by taking legal action and since the other side had no evidence, the case was dropped. Embracing the ban only means he can't change people's minds. Which is true. People who would insist he messed up will never change their mind on that. So he chooses to keep fighting because he knows he didn't. He isn't trying to grow from his mistakes. He's getting better and stronger mentally so that people could stop pushing him around. He's finally standing up for himself when he was too scared to do it before.

Personally, here's my thought. A player should choose wisely when picking a sponsor, and the sponsor should be more afraid of losing players, not threatening them even though they do have every right to drop a player due to breaking rules. However, a TO has no right to refuse a player based on tournaments they have participated in in the past. A TO has no right to it, and we, as the community, should just step away from said tournaments and let them die off. We gotta start pushing back. And if need be let's start the right side to smash tournaments! LOVE YOU ALL

Unrelated note: Give Diddy his 2nd banana back. Snake can have two grenades on screen occupying a similar threat zone that Diddy could with 2 peels. Why? I hate Snake to play against and to watch *also, this is a completely biased comment/opinion*

For those who are concerned about their local TOs banning them - forget about them. Play the game with people who want to play the game. If they ban you, what exactly is stopping you from hosting your own locally? Especially if you are well liked and respected in your scene - what exactly are those TOs going to do? Ban everyone that participates in your tournament? Like I have said in previous comments on Zero's channel - Decentralization is the only answer to really get the Smash community out of the situation it's in. It has been polluted by incredibly bitter people who elected themselves to take control of the scenes and even nationally
