Something about “The boy” gives me so much Over the Garden Wall vibes to me. Just the idea of a character only called “the boy” who goes over to a guy’s house every day to pull out his weeds for only three dollars just because the anxiety of weeds is to much for the guy (whom the “the boy”only calls Dr. Mcillroy) is so weird and specific and wonderful. Also the fact that he’s wearing little overalls has so many Greg vibes.

For a while, my TV had a bug on the KZbin app where videos I randomly clicked on would be replaced with a black screen and the audio of the first video the bug had last occurred on. This video served as that audio replacement for the longest while. The horror that continually washed over me every time a video would take a little too long to show up on the screen, only to have my fears confirmed as in the darkness a grown man shouts “I HAVE A BOY”. I know it is not your fault, and will never be your fault, but I can’t help but hold a sickness for the many times this audio has disturbed my slumber or interrupted my viewing pleasure. If I hear the string of words “I have a boy”, I go feral. This video has ruined me. I will never have a boy as a result of the great fear I’ve contracted. My weeds will never be whacked beyond my purview for a measly three dollars. This path of life has been eternally locked off for me by a barrier I will never transcend. I am a broken man, and the boy has broken me.

First, great job! My favorite thing about your animation style is your way of illustrating movement with the face without moving the outline.
