@@Gnarlf I don’t think they’re together anymore sorry. I could be wrong, but that’s my assumption as anytime she brought up Germany in this video she never even mentioned Mike’s name. She also said that once she returns to the US she won’t be going back to Germany for the foreseeable future. If she and Mike were still a couple then I would assume she’d at least make occasional visits to Germany to visit him, and he’d make occasional visits to see her in the US. Also never talked about getting married their whole relationship, regardless of how either of them feel about marriage a marriage certificate would help them with their travels back and forth, and residing in each others countries in a lot of ways.

There have been many changes, loss of family connections, the loss of my mother and her sisters being many of them. Plus the cost of living here on the west coast being obnoxious at the least. Is making me question the need to stay here. I am currently in my early 50s, I moved here when I was in my late 20s. My point is, I think you are making a good decision. Nothing lasts forever. @@Skye_world88 Nah the universe is indifferent to our human suffering and trials just as nature is, I think that's just a way of trying to cope when we feel our own inner resources are not enough to deal with issues. ok so I did this the opposite way. I moved from the US, where I immigrated to in the first place, (i’m Jamaican), and moved to Scotland for my 2nd degree. I didn’t like the programs in Scotland so in 2015 moved to Germany and got my Masters degree in Environmental engineering.

Wow, didn't expect this but I'm glad you're sharing this story with us. Just out of curiosity, I wanted to ask you what this program is all about, especially having to undergo such an extensive medical examination. Besides this, it's your life, so it's just on you to choose whats best for you.

Ich gönne es dir, aber ich muss sagen, dass ich es auch ein bisschen schade finde. Ich mag deinen Content so sehr, und ich hoffe, dass du irgendwann wieder kommst😊

Even though we are all somehow the same, the medical field (apart from laws maybe, I guess) is likely the most difficult ones to move between two worlds. Even if you completed the education in the US, it will be hard to use it in Germany in parallel. Thus, I feel you went for the decision which makes you happy - and that's the best choice then :) Congrats :)

You need to do what is working for you and I wish you all tge best. From the outside it looks a little like you wanted both things and neither was working for you. A commitment one way or the other will make things easier and you can always change down the road. Best of luck!

It's a pity, that you are leaving, and i wished, that our country could have been a better place with a better future for you. But i understand, that your heart is telling you, what you really want and really need right now and that you have to follow it. So i wish the best for you in the states and please, let us be a part of it. I like your few of things (and need you as one of my english teachers 😉)! Good luck! 😚
