I had Covid last November. It wasn't that bad and I wasn't hospitalized. I lost a lot of my hearing though so I'm in communication therapy at nearly 40 to speed learn ASL and trying to get used to hearing aids which don't seem to help me hear, just make what I can hear pain inducingly loud. My oldest has autism so this has all been the hardest on her because not only was I sick for a month, but when I came back I was changed forever and I can't hear her as well and she already struggled with communication. I'm glad you aren't hospitalized. Lots of us do lose important things to covid even if we don't nearly die from it. I don't want to harp on vaccines because there are A LOT of people not well suited for the vaccine and I don't know everyone's situations. Just know even if you are young and healthy you could be faced with never hearing your children say I love you or you can't hear if they are hurt in another room. I don't have to wonder if the vaccine could have changed anything because it didn't exist when I got sick. I wouldn't want to have to wonder though.

I think I stopped breathing when I saw the title of your vlog. I am a nurse and wish I had a magic wand.I am sure your parents are happy to be there for you. All those healthy walks in sunshine to keep your Vit D up will pay off now. You might want to document your temp during the afternoon spikes, be sure the paracetamol has worn off so is true temp. Stay hydrated. If any symptoms get worse, don't try to tough it out. Consult a doctor. Often people report feeling better and then have a downturn. I'm sure you will be fine. Get well soon 💕💕 I can’t believe THIS is my first comment- but I was eating some crunchy cereal (panda puffs, the best), and so I didn’t hear that you said “ingrown toenail” so it sounded like you casually said “when I got my toenails removed” and I was like “girl WHAT”. Very relieved that you didn’t get your toenails removed 😖😂 LOVE you and your channel- you bring so much joy and light to the world ❤️

not to sound rude but if you are isolating why is your door open? hope you’re getting better soon!!!

It's not like it travels all the way down. You'd have to be close to someone who is infected.

Grace Banksy is smart - dogs and cats can get COVID and transmit it to other people

I was thinking the same before Banksy came in. But to late now.

Sorry but this is not correct. Guys please know that dogs and cats can not contract Covid. They can act as a fomite, ie. COVID on hands, touch a cat with said hands, COVID gets on fur. Another person touches the fur etc. but COVID is NOT easily passed on this way! Pets do not become infected with COVID. animals get infected with different types of corona viruses. In dogs and cats they usually cause gastro. I’m a vet and lots of people are scared about getting covd from their pets. Please don’t spread misinformation. ❤️

@@samtashy5130 You're right in that feline coronavirus is a separate disease to SARS-Cov-2 and that animal to human transmission is unlikely as far as we know. But there's actually been a fair bit of evidence in the last few months to suggest that human to animal transmission of SARS-CoV-2 does occur. The University of Utrecht published a study of households with COVID-19 in June that showed that 4.2% of pets were currently infected at the time of testing and 17% showed antibodies indicating previous infection. The University of Guelph did a similar study and found that 67% of cats and 47% of dogs from 77 infected households tested positive for COVID-19, and the University of Glasgow identified cases where humans had passed on SARS-Cov-2 to their cats in April and confirmed that COVID-19 can sometimes result in severe illness for pets. I would stress though that in many cases infection in pets doesn't result in severe illness, and there's absolutely no reason to feel guilty for having isolated with them as most people don't know about this and keeping pets happy is important too 💕

@@samtashy5130 I was and am not concerned about Banksy getting ill. But as you yourself have just confirmed, she could transmit the virus to other members of the household. Grace is quarantining in her room to keep her parents safe. So having Banksy freely wandering in and out is not a risk I would want to be taking.
