I am really glad to see you are back! As someone who has been ill for a year and only just received a diagnosis I can really understand how strange it is when you don’t have to fight for answers any more- I found it really hard because I was so used to spending all my time having tests and suddenly I had a diagnosis. Even though I had been ill for ages and already knew what was wrong with me, when it was formally diagnosed I actually had to come to terms and accept it. You have had an awful lot to deal with so be kind to yourself and try not to feel guilty for going off the grid for a while.

lorna Hulse thank you so much for this lovely comment. It’s odd, isn’t it? When everything is in place and running smoothly. I was always so desperate for everything to be settled, and now it is all of this has kicked off. Oh well! Onwards and (hopefully) upwards! X

Hi Hannah. I bought your poetry book and really enjoyed it. It really made me think in a different way. Will sign the petition now. x

I signed the petition and made sure I shared it on my Facebook, I didn't think it'd make a difference but someone from my course commented that she'd signed the petition. I hope you can get the medication you need Hannah, it's nice to know how you're doing through your channel and seeing your face even when I can't visit

Extremely relatable! Thank you for sharing your experience.

I signed a few weeks ago but I'll send the petition around to family and friends tomorrow. Great video, I also have PTSD and can relate to a lot of what you set about triggers and struggling to go out. It's good that you're talking about these things.

Ros Taylor I’m so sorry you also have it. It isn’t fun is it? I think it’s important to get it out there so that people who haven’t experienced it get to understand it. X
@rosamundtaylor7516 жыл бұрын
Hannah Hodgson it is not fun at all. I think your psychologist is right to say it would be surprising if you didn't have it since you've been through so much. I suspect a lot of people with chronic illness or who have experienced invasive medical procedures have it but aren't aware of what it is they're experiencing as there is so little information out there.

Make as many comebacks as you need. It's okay to be on and off or taking big breaks. Things will eventually settle. It's totally fine and understandable if you're delaying in responding to messages etc. You don't need to feel bad or put pressure on yourself because it's all a part of your condition and there's inevitably a domino effect on other everyday things/tasks. I'll add you to my prayer list. God Bless You Sweet Girl!!! ✞❤

Catherine Vaughan thank you so much. You’ve got it in one. It’s tough but I am hoping the time between breaks will eventually stop and I will be able to be on here more! It’s really nice to be back 😊

Hannah, you are amazing for making this video. What honesty 👏🏻Rest assured that I will never take a lack of communication personally - chronic illness and mental health can be so all consuming, I know and so very dark. So glad you are talking to a professional about your PTSD - it sounds like it really helping you to understand what is happening. Sending much love 💛

She Gathered Books Thank you so much. It has been really tough, but the psychologist I’m seeing said it would be odd for me NOT to have it because of all of the experiences I have been through. Xx

Dear Hannah! I have not been so happy to see someone's face in decades! To put it frankly, I'm glad you're not dead! Of course I will sign your petition. And share it everywhere. I would suggest that we share it with other disabled KZbinrs. Jessica Kellgren-Fozard leaps to mind. If everyone who is reading this would please go over to Jessica's Channel and ask her to share Hannah's petition, that would be awesome! Or any other disabled KZbinrs that you know. I will talk to you more but I was just about to eat breakfast. I just want you to know how very very very happy I am to see your face and now I'm going to cry. XO

I have suspected ptsd after being hit by a car.. I've been asking for help from the NHS for nearly 2 years now and apparently I'm not sick enough :'( it's so hard to keep functioning.

Rachael Collinson that’s awful I’m so sorry. The underfunding of mental health services is so awful and so many people don’t have the help they need. :hugs: X

Hello, a few lovely people, such as Jessica have shared it on Twitter. I’ve done really well at 7,500 - but the huge number of signatures needed is daunting. A member of the kaiser chiefs has shared it as well!
