I'm glad to see you back. I can relate to some of the things you say even though I don't have BPD (I have my own little collection of diagnosis). I've seen in my own family how many people would rather be in a bad relationship than be alone, in fact I've seen it so much I thought it was the norm and I was the weird one for preferring to be alone than settle. I've been single for around 8 years and after all this time I have no idea how to get back into dating! Thanks for the video, even if you just say what's on your mind it helps others not feel so alone.

Hopefully you got back in the game and are happy. I am in the same boat after almost 8 years since the last real relationship. About 3 years since being intimate with someone. Its daunting to get back out there ! I guess I just wanted to say that you deserve to be happy and fulfilled in whatever way you choose! Good luck.

Honestly, I’ve now at 36 got to a point being comfortable telling people that I do not want gifts or presents. They take me back to a time when those things would be weaponised against me to show how ungrateful I am and as I’ve grown up they are not part of my love language. It’s literally a boundary.
