I feel for you man, I broke my wrist a year back and had to sit in a car while we drove 5 hours back home. It was so terrible, but then I found out that I couldn't get the pain meds because they wouldn't do a state-to-state transfer for some odd reason. Had to wait a couple of days as well until they could do surgery on it. Surgery honestly made the pain worse and I was pretty wrecked for a day or so after.

Bro, I feel for you. In Jan this year I had something similar (not as bad as you), when a was in a cross walk and a car hit me. It smashed me to the ground with my right shoulder taking the biggest hit then my head. I did break my collar bone, but I have the AC joint "bump" now and my collar bone sticks up. I was told that surgery can complicate it. Hoping a speedy recovery!

I too broke mine skiing last February, I think I got super lucky because it only really hurt for a single day after breaking it, and then another day after surgery. Ever since then I literally felt nothing. (Took me 2 weeks to get into surgery, same thing, bone sticking out, thank god it wasn't painful). Hopefully yours heals without complications too as mine has. I'm getting the metal plate taken out next month probably 👌 It took like 3-4 weeks after surgery for me to be able to drive a car again, so I'm sure you'll be able to get back to photography in no time :)

Sorry man, I actually suffered a pretty nasty concussion snow boarding; the board clipped me in the head and I passed out to the sight of blood running off my face into the snow. Woke up in the ER covered in my own blood. Glad your OK. Hope you recover quickly. That plot twist was pretty funny also; Have Fun.

Sorry this happened to you😢 snowboarding is officially off the list for my activities. Did exactly what you did on each of my shoulders. 1 year followed by the next. I had the same exact experience 5 years ago. Not a good experience at all. Even today I'm not 100% from my shoulder. But ofc that depends on a lot of factors. The result is that I never did snowboard again because I just didn't want to experience the full recovery process again which was the most painful, even more than breaking the collarbone. The whole process after breaking the collarbone and going to physiotherapy, etc... It is just not worth the adrenaline anymore. Especially because nowadays my shoulder is not 100% and even sleeping to my right shoulder it hurts. So yeah having another fall it for sure not be good for me. I hope it is different for you though, I know some people who broke the collarbones and are 100% recovered without any issues.
