❤ you are so correct about your dad! You must grieve who he was and pray to accept who is. Some days, it feels daily! My husband was 41 years old and suffered a stroke with a major bleeder and had to have brain surgery. Our children were 11 and 6 at the time and we had been married 17 years, dated 8 years prior. Yes, God allowed him to live. However, I lost my best friend. But I was blessed to have a wife of Dementia patient give me the same advice as you are sharing. 😢 continued prayers for you and your family. ❤

I totally get what you're saying about things just keep happening. We've been dealing with that here too. Different stuff obviously but I'm just going with the flow. This summer just seem like every week it's something. I'm praising God because the stuff that has gone wrong could have gone really wrong and didn't. I'm trying really hard not to live that life of what's next and just live but the struggle is real. Just wanted to let you know your not alone. My dad had a brain injury last year and passed away after about 3 months fighting after the surgery. It’s okay to grieve whatever you feel. Thankfully he is still here and able to have some independence! Happy to see you back on KZbin love your content!
