Yeah I had that problem, I went through the entire world three times making dozens of sideways hellavators, after the fourth time I gave up and looked in TEdit and there was a single corruption sand block just lying in the bottom of hell.

Watching you slowly go insane over a magic guitar was hilarious. Also, the reason the Shimmered Golfer is a fox-man is because he's the older brother of the Zoologist, who's a were-fox. Shimmering him turns him into one, too.

18:06 I think the crafting recipe is for worlds made before shimmer was added, so legacy worlds don't need to import it from new ones. Shimmering it doesn't give you luminite back because then you could cheese it for unlimited luminite. The shimmer doesn't know where you got that shimmer bucket from.

23:10 As a person who 'mains' summoner and has done a FTW summoner playthrough two times, I can say that summoner is a trip on its own. It starts of weak, but sharpens the players dodging skills over time and in mid hardmode almost every boss feels like easy mode. With the proper accessories and maybe even a bit of whip stacking you melt basicly every boss with ease. Anyways great series, lovely builds and awesome commentary, kerp up the work Throar!

I mentioned a couple of months ago, but I started a One Year One World challenge myself on Terraria's anniversary, but had to cancel it because OneDrive deleted all of my non cloud-saved files when I got a new computer :( Now that January has begun, I have started again to combat the evil forces of paid cloud-save subscriptions and complete the game as you have. This challenge is a simple yet unique way to play the game, and to slow my progression further I decided to do Legendary mode on For the Worthy. Glad to see the end of your challenge, and I look forward to more content in the future! :D

someone else might’ve said this, but the reason the shimmer bucket didn’t give you back the bars was because the crafting recipe was for people who were on a pre-1.4.4 world so they could still get shimmer, it doesn’t give you the items because you’d be able to infinitely farm it (throw a water bucket in, get a shimmer bucket, throw the shimmer bucket back in get 10 bars and the water bucket back etc etc)

Theres no real difference for mining upwards instead of downward getting slow by water when you use flipper potion, or neptune shell or direct upgrade accesories. After soo many "challenge runs", speedruns, handicaps of whatever you name it, either ive watched or i did it, your achievement is very special. Tremendous determination and consistency, its called passion and you arent a casual player at all after this journey

I did this in 2022 during the last few months of highscool and it was my favorite terraria playthrough. I built some amazing bases in the ocean, forest, cave, and jungle biomes and they were all fueled by the creativity and attention boosting thc cart that was a bad idea to use but helped my terraria creativity. I had an awesome world but even being 150+ hours deep into the playthrough my final progession step was finishing the mech bosses. I guess ill maybe come back to that world one day and finish it or send me firstborn son on a mission to finish it for me. Good times in terraria .❤

18:20 You're actually partially right, you *did* have better spawns after beating the Moon Lord. The night after you beat a boss for the first time in a terraria world, you'll get the floating lantern event (visible in the skies in the background), which increases luck!
