Love my nagant. Cant hit a thing with the awful trigger but its a treasure

My first Nagant revolver cost $50. That was around 2010. Second Nagant revolver cost $150, around 2014ish. Now, these revolvers are $500! I can’t afford them anymore. So sad.

@RonBarracuda I bought mine for $900. It's from 1916 with original Russian empire Tula Armory markings. Very hard to find that year or even older so I think it's worth it

Don’t use double action if you are shooting at point blank range It’s garbage , the Russians probably never used it either

I have always been fascinated by the gas seal mechanism. I imagined a modern stainless single action made for silhouette shooting, chambered for a cartridge based on the .357 Maximum. This would overcome the top strap erosion experienced on the Ruger .357 Max.

The Nagant could lode two cartridges at a time ! Not just one

12 to 20 pounds trigger pull, no accidental gunfire, misfires, it's all on the carrier

I wonder why the gas seal concept hasn't been revived? With modern technology, the trigger pull wouldn't be an issue. .327 Mag would be the perfect cartridge. Perhaps, extend the case slightly so the bullet could be seated flush, with no loss of capacity. Having a suppressor ready wheelgun would be so cool!

Looks like a real cool GUN, wonder why the USA didn't make a gun like this?

The amount of FPS gained is not worth the extra engineering.

@@KriegZombie it is when you consider this revolver can successfully use a suppressor.

You hate this old gun, I like this old gun. We're not the same

I like the gun in single action but I wouldn’t shoot it in double unless I absolutely had to at very close range , which is probably what the Russians did themselves
