I’ve been watching your videos for the last couple months. Got me in the mood to start bowling again. Bowled in high school with only a 171 average, but never bowled a 200 game only 190s. Got a new ball and corrected a few things in stance and timing. I bowled 3 200 games in last two weeks, two in the same night. It’s a feels good moment.

just a video i would love to see from your perspective: how to build an arsenal on paper (for those of us that cant buy multiple balls and rotate that way) based on like what role an asym pearl would play versus an asym solid, sym pearls vs sym solids, etc. so if someone has an asym pearl, do they need an asym solid or does a urethane they already have fill that role, etc. sorry for the wordy paragraph!

The league is sanctioned but he's throwing Chris Via's balls from the U.S. Open when he bowls 2 handed. That Hyroad Maxx is the ball Chris used to make TV for 3 majors. The proton physix is what Chris Via won the U.S. Open with. Its a sanctioned league but the balls he's throwing 2 handed are 2 handed drills.

Random, but with this bring a USBC league, I believe the rules state you have to use the same bowling style every game, if not you forfeit? Had this issue a couple years ago and the serious team took offense to someone who wasn't serious and beat them game 3 cuz of it. My guess is the team you were bowling didn't really care.

Not the case. Plenty of two handed bowlers shoot their spares one handed. No where in the rules states you have to specify a style. Only left or right.

To be VERY technical, you have to start and end a season with the same hand and you need to use all the holes in your bowling ball in order for the ball to be legal on that particular frame. So if you throw without a thumb and your ball has a thumb hole in it, that ball is illegal. But you can throw said ball with your thumb tho. Like Darren said, it's how a good amount of two handers throw their spares: Two holes for their reactive stuff, three for their spare balls.

It's content people! It's pure content but it does highlight just how different league vs pro tour is. The pro tour puts a premium on staying ahead of transition and making near perfect shots whereas league you can miss way outside or way inside and still strike. He's not saying don't join leagues, just that the mindset and skills required as a pro are so different from what is needed for league. His comments simply highlight the huge differences between your every day league bowler and a touring pro.

It's clear you have never been a content creator. I would advise not getting into it because you have no idea what content creation is about. People don't show up for a robot throwing good shot after good shot. People show up for the CONTENT. The actions and behavior are what get people to show up. You know why the media only publishes negative stories? The negative stories bring the clicks and views. A positive story doesn't bring as much. Do you not understand how content works? If you just want to watch someone bowl well, pull up any PBA event ever and watch it. People aren't going to tune in every single week for vlogs if he's not doing any real content creation. His league vlogs would have half the views if he just bowled normal every week. Plus if you join his Twitch chat you get to be involved in the process and would understand the behind the scenes rather than just going off the video you see.

Could easily be breaking down the process for reading lane conditions and knowing how to adjust to transition. But no, he just whines about bad racks and that “league sucks”… doing all this just seems to create more bad habits that are easily avoidable. If he’s making a good living doing it, great I’m happy for him. However, there’s one thing in common with a lot of these “creators” like Brad, Kyle, Packy, tangs: they aren’t winning a lot of titles 🤷‍♂️
