I'll give you a tip with the duckweed. You can dry it out and powder it up and mix it with an egg and roll it out and cut it into squares and bake it for an hour or two to dry it out and you have free replenishable shrimp and pleco food. You can add other plant and leaf matter to the mix doing the same as the duckweed to add minerals and vitamins to the mix.

U could sell some of your plecos at the auction next month. If u go...Super reds usually sell for a decent amount. At least they have in the past.

Im geting into breeding brissles pelcos for the first time. I got a large cave that seems way to big but male loves it female been in and out no eggs yet but i dont know if shes with eggs. I like the small box u have the eggs u scraped the eggs in what are u useing? My female has never breed befor so this will be her first time. Male has heen in the cave or near it faning his fin or siting next to her alot doing that.

HI Jeff, what percentage of pleco babies make it past a few months?? there seems to be a consensus growing that maybe 30 percent do not live past a few months, what say you? also, do you have any insight on sudden pleco death...very popular topic. I need your wisdom on this, i have lost a few new plecos lately, in an established tank, well tested etc. thanks
