Guys, the part where the ghost ripped out his heart was not real, it's kind of a metaphor. The ghost just gives you heart attacks, but it also gives allucinations to those who are affected by the curse.

She took the baby of the man who murdered her and her village, but she doesn't want to kill the protagonist just because of his relationship as a grandson - she wants to kill him because he's his grandfather's "partner", IE one of his men. Possibly, she didn't even kill the child of the grandfather because he was his child, but because the grandfather called his son his "partner", too, just like the grandson.
