This is great! One of the few coaching vids which actually provides you with a non standard, not cookie cutter solutions to this huge sales objection.

Does the "what did you need to discuss with your wife just so I know what kinds of questions you are gonna ask tomorrow" work over text when our second scheduled meeting is tomorrow?

This is an interesting concept. Try and narrow down. Pretend to fold. Then go in again. 🤔

I'm in the home improvement industry , In 2023 we have seen people holding onto their money ... they want information and don't want to be sold anything and are going from an avg of 3 maybe 4 estimates to 6 ,7, even 8 estimates before they make a decision , people are much more educated about built in sales commissions and marketing costs that inflate their estimates , and are going with contractors without those costs , I see this as the future of home improvement people eventually will buy a roof package or kitchen bathroom window package online eliminating sales people and high marketing and sales commissions all together - the car business is moving in that direction now and having alot of success-

Every consumer of any product home improvement, cars, hvac, anything big ticket.. has built in sales resistance~ they are doing their own research as well, if your company pays sales commissions and has marketing costs , 99% of the time your prospect knows this as soon as you give them your estimate / bid..and they already know what the cost of the product your selling should be ... so they better like you right from the start and trust you completely, and it starts from the first contact period , this is something you can't fake or teach , you can't use tricks or sales speak you have to talk plain simple matter of fact and be 100% transparent or your done before you start zero chance no matter how savvy or how much experience you have~

That's an interesting synopsis... I'm in the home improvement industry and there's no way they can buy my shower door packages online. They would have to do it themselves and that would be stepping out of line and making mistakes that they're not aware of. They do not have the industry knowledge, experience of the installation or the safety of it. If people start doing this, they're going to regret it. That's a mistake even if the technology is in place.

@@MalibuGlassMI well that's a great point , but what I meant was a company would still install the product a customer would pick out eliminating marketing and sales commissions, not profit or labor ...

If a lower level person says they need to talk to other parts of the company to make a decision, I like to ask who in your hierarchy has the ability to make a decision about a transaction of the size. Or something along those lines that's just my natural instinct. What are you guys think

That’s exactly what you need to do in B2B. There’s no way your cold calling a receptionist and making them make a decision on buying a product for the company without talking to someone higher up

dont sell to people who arent indepedent decision makers. takes 80% of prospects out of the equation. but easier. if you want a good answer alexander qajar has a better take on this

What's so frustrating about all these sales channels they always use technology or education or marketing as examples never something like pest control or roofing or lawn service maybe auto mechanic 🧰 really wish they would include the blue color sales person in examples it's like they forget we exist and needs to sell our services and products too.

At the end of the day, sales is sales. It always boils down to finding pain points and offering solutions to solve those points, while asking for the sale and overcome objections.

They have to market to the majority. They can’t give an example for every industry. Just try to apply it to your industry

Nope not true! Show you haven’t heard all the sales channels. It’s another platforms that talk about selling solar objections and real estate objections etc.. keep searching!! And remember okay if if these act in the same way just a different product!!!

I totally understand him in the construction industry and is Jeremy says all the time there's 158 industries per For Forbes and sub industries off of that. So yeah, more construction sales in home estimating would be a great one. And I know there's a few videos Jeremy did with a gentleman that's done really well in like the roofing siding industry.

Jeremy Miner always uses examples like those you mentioned. I've seen it several times from him in particular.
