I'm saying a prayer for you and your wife right now. I'm hoping for the best. I'm 66 and I've been married 45 years and I don't know what I would do if something happened to my wife. Having to be a care giver for my mom and dad for years and taking my mom to the ER about nine times before she died, I know how hard it is. Stay strong Bruce!

My mother was a totally disabled quadriplegic for decades, and I know that it's much much harder to deal with than people think. But that's why my Dad was always my hero. You are now becoming a superhero like my Dad. Nobody knows if they can deal with it, until they are in the situation. You have earned a great honour.

As a fellow boomer who is caretaking for her 80 yo mom I feel you. I'm hoping for the best for your wife's recovery. Taking it slower is fine! I struggle with consistency myself and I know how hard it can be to create that content when you are just absolutely wiped out. Give yourself grace and take care of yourself. See you soon.

Most of us are boomers too so we somewhat understand what you’re going through. My sister & I did 24/7 with my Dad - he had a fib then several strokes. We found we became much closer with my Dad & each other. So, you won’t regret your caring time with your wife. Do reach out to the health care community for help and relief. You must take care of yourself. And I’m guessing you can reach out to this community for moral support when you need it. Keeping you both in my thoughts ❤️.

Good luck with everything, I went through something like this with my mother 2 years ago. They are never quite the same, but I treasure the time I've had with her since. I don't take any of this "borrowed" time for granted. I also understand the incredible challenge of being a caretaker. It's really hard at first, but you eventually get into a groove and it will get much easier and highly rewarding when you see the results of your efforts.

Hi. Try to keep up your hope and spirits if you can. I’m about to hit 70 years old and have suffered from Afib for three years. It got so bad that I was virtually fainting between takes when I was making videos for KZbin. I refused to accept what was going on with my heart. Recently, after a nasty fall because I passed out, I was given an ablation along with some other adjustments to my heart and everything returned to normal again. I’m even able to run now. But it did make me rethink things. Made me question why I was so worried about KZbin and not my health. So now, videos appear only when I’m ready, willing and able. That stress has been floated away. Here’s the weirdest part …. My subs have continued to slowly increase and I haven’t made any reviews for some time now. People watch my older videos I guess. So don’t worry about YT. Just a hobby and if it impacts your health, it has to go or at least be more under control because it can get a grip on you to the point where you no longer have any regard for your family and health. Take care.

Thanks for sharing i can see its hard. its difficult without knowing exactly her condition. But I would say is she's getting a lot of mucus build up in lungs nose and throat even then start taking NAC+ help me dramatically! this is good for people who have emphysema and other lung conditions 3 -4 a day in her case. It is safe you can't really take too much naturally found in some foods. Buy with blood pressure start taking K2 it helped me with my blood pressure, it removes plaque from the soft tissue puts it into the bones I would say take 4 minimum a day two in the morning two in the afternoon again completely safe no chances of too much. Some vitamin D3 2000iu day no more only if the doctor recommends more, and that's another thing get the doctor to give her a blood test for vitamin deficiency and mineral deficiency sometimes taking too much minerals can be bad not necessarily having not enough in your diet. Take B3 normal daily mount and B6 normal deliy amount, it helps with arterial stiffness lowers blood pressure won't be instant though. Worth taking 25 mg of zinc and make sure calcium is not deficient people can be deficient in calcium especially women going for the menopause should show up in the blood test anyway but you could take 300mg to start off with won't do any harm talk to the doctor first and should be on statins so should you anybody over 50 the best one is what seems to have less side effects Rosuvastatin. Won't do you any harm to take Cumin can help with stress caused by inflammation in the body especially arthritis. you might want to try taking ashwagenga, but you need to check with your doctor first, and don't take too much 600 milligrams every other day or every third - fourth day, it helps to reduce swelling lower blood pressure sugar levels, and calms the brain from stress anxiety. I take one a week now! because it caused me to have too much libido when I was taking one every day or every other day I'm not sure if that's going to be the same with your wife or with women?? Take you and your wife Nattokines as well, clinical studies have shown the benefits dissolves blood clots improves blood flow encourages good gut behaviour and boost your immune system reduces the risk of coronary heart disease, most illnesses are caused by bad gut behavior, even cancers. studies in Japan are showing people to live longer healthier tackling Natto. Anyway just start taking right away the NAC the K2, B6, vitamin D3 but not too much tho! get on those statins both of you as well make sure the doctors do a full blood test vitamins and minerals deficiency test, something they leave out and it's very important, if she can get under a sunbed for 15 minutes a day that is better than taking the D, but I wouldn't do more than 15 to 20 minutes if she is at high risk of skin cancers than lower this down to 10 minutes or even not at all speak to your doctor. I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of blood pressure medicines I've never gone to that extent because I found natural remedies as I have explained! and my blood pressure is very good now after about a year of taking it. Really notice my lungs clearing up as well after taking nac in covid, had it twice and after the first time I took it second time had no problems with my lungs at all or throat or nose even with a fever I did not take any vac.... Thank God get her out into some fresh air if you can away from traffic pollution if you can pop to Mexico even better don't stress start taking some ashwagenga might help you feel better help me with my stress I'm sure she'll be fine!
