Hey man. Sorry to hear. I also had a weird separation with my family a few years back. Not sure if i will ever see anyone in my family tree again unfortunately. Even if the separation might be for the best, it still hurts to lose a core presence in your life. Just another life experience we get to have, nothing to it but to press on :) Hope you're managing and can maybe one day have a coffee with him chatting about the old times.
