After 6 weeks of low carb diet I was craving some pasta real bad. In order to get the best pasta possible, I decided to hike from my cabin in Austria by myself to Italy across the Alps. The catch: I had no idea how far it was because I wasn't using any maps and didn't do any planning beforehand. I just had to go south and conquer whatever mountains stood in my way.

Thanks!! Which one? The smaller lakes were in Kelchsau. The river with boulders in "Zillertalarena Gerlos" and the lake on day 2 with the bistro is called Durlaßboden Stausee. Hope that helps.

Bus, 3 trains and another bus + the last bit to my cabin by foot in order to complete the circle. Sounds bad but was actually pretty easy thanks to European transportation system.
