Tips on the currency conversion Lawson atms have the best conversion rate but has fee so convert as much at single time. Never accept the recommended rates that is shown on the atms always go with bank/card rates

Hi , you didn’t mention the Black Cat luggage transfer service which is all over Japan . We often check the ski gear on as we arrive in Japan . We then go and see some sites , meanwhile the so Ki gear is transported to your hotel in resort. . It’s very easy to use

Not sure if I checked Black Cat, but the one at Haneda currently doesn’t do same day delivery, which is why I left it out 😉

Hi , thanks for the reply. You are correct Black Cat delivery is 1-2 days . Hence why we drop the ski kit off at the airport and go site see for a few days. The kit arrives in resort before us . Great channel

We did the other way. After the skiing was a wrap, Black Cat took all our ski gear back to their airport site and we had a couple of baggage light days for some site seeing. Great service.

Really good info', thx. JaPow is on my bucket list but I better get focused & use my deep thinking skills before heading that way!

Good tips! The airport bus also goes to some of the major train stations and is my preference for getting into the city when it's peak hour and you don't want to cram yourself and your bags on a train!
