One of my favorite skaters. Bill and Stuttering Skater influenced me to skate on the streets and film content like them. The streets in Philly got a lot pot holes and cracks so I need to skate outside of Philly. Less homicide cases too ❤

I was watching a Kensington video of street people & this guy was rollerblading down there! That would be a hell of a crazy video if you did that…….. and survived 😮

@@HeadNtheClouds I drove by that street plenty of times and walked around there a few times. I don't feel comfortable skating there with all the drug addicts. I skated in different Philly areas. I got one recorded last week, but didn't get a chance to upload it yet. It's pretty sketchy at night time.

I always enjoy your videos and they really helped me to become a better skater when I got back into it 10 years ago. They banned skating on Lincoln around 5 years ago. They can ticket you "if" they catch you. The Skater Migration annual event is coming up in February where a couple of hundred+ skaters attend from all over.

When practicing generally or drilling specific skills, do you recommend an ideal time maximum? I'm a returning skater after ~15 years and hoping for a scientific rule of thumb in addition to listening to my body. I'm trying to be wary of overdoing it because of how much I missed skating.

I also noticed that skating lacks visibility here(Germany). It has become obvious that a lot of younger kids have never seen someone skate through the streets with any kind of proficiency. They look and point and I even heard one kid ask his mom what I had on my feet. So whenever there are kids watching I go for my best form do some crossovers and jump some manholes. This seems to be working as I've heard grannies and kinder garden kids make impressed comments and even had a kid shout hello Mr Inline Skates from the playground(a title I'm proud quite of) and another cuff his hands over his eyes and lean over in what seemed to be an attempt to see what kind of skates I have. I'm not even that good there really just is a lack of visible proficient skaters.

Here in colorado it is so low in the closet. I see a few out and about. I try to go out a few times a week if the roads and bike paths are clear. Cheers. 30+ years inline here. I feel grateful to have kept at it this long. current skate power slide grad prix. trike
