But if you have the time to prepare kicks are def a nice bonus and a weapon that can end a fight with one shot if you can get it up to the head and most well rounded pros have a nice kick.

this is the first time anyone actually properly explained to me why less mobility is a good thing for strength athletes, thanks Mitch, I know you talked about it before but it didn't really make sense, but te stretch rebound(bounce) in the competition range absolutely makes sense. luckily as a more general athlete who also trains for physique development on the side I can actually use all the mobility and strength in all ranges since I never know in what position I have to be strong. But if you know your range it not only makes sense for specificity(which is why I used to think some full range acessories would be good) but having the rebound sure makes a big difference, not just for 1RM, but especially for reps so you don't loose as much strength and energy on each rep. only muscle I'd still train at very long lengths for some acessories are hamstrings, maybe biceps and chest, but not for mobility, but to strengthen the connevtive tissues and decrease the risk of tears, plu a fully stretched hamstring makes you weaker, so it probably isn't a big deal to have some extra mobility there and with almost straight knees the glutes and quads don't gain mobility anyway

In the flow of the conversation it came to where she said that in certain positions that he demonstrated on her she could cause him discomfort with eye gouges, groin kicks, etc. And, she could if the opportunity presented itself. She fully knows that if Mitchell went at her in full anger and full force he could possibly kill her. She is an elite martial artist, and very talented but when it comes to landing blows for real it is silly even talking about this. I am a 200lb man who is in shape and can street fight because of my youth. I wouldn’t last 3 minutes against a very angry, determined Mitch Hooper. Like every other sports you have to practice it for years before you reach elite level. Even within just strength specific sports like arm wrestling, your don´t just become an elite level arm wrestler. The match between Devon Larratt and Thor showed this. And i know of alot of pretty strong people who think just because they are strong they can kick everybody's ass, and that is just not the case. With that being said i am pretty sure you would be able to manhandle her just using your strength. There is a reason men and women does not fight against each other and that there is weight classes.

The problem is, deadlift bars have too much knurling. If they were smooth at the part were your shins go it'd be fine.

There might be hope for gaining some half decent low kicks, but i don't think you should push your luck trying to go higher than the lower end of the quads. Getting some effective kicks in can be difficult even when your a decent kicker! That atlas stone she was working with looked like it was awkwardly small to use proper atlas stone technique on, she kept trying to cup it.

Going by the fact that Eddie still does his weird hobbit lean to the side thing and getting kicked in the head for it, I'd say it's worth learning at least a high kick.

@@zGJungle Yeah.. he can't even lift up his arms high enough to protect himself. He's too muscle bound. His body is fighting against him. He's so fucking susceptible to kicks and all he has is a right hand that he chambers.

Love it ! With that step in side kick ….step your back leg behind the kicking leg it opens your hips up as you chamber and step through and drive it through that heel ….simple but deadly I would level 300 lbs bob dumbies. If you don’t drive through your heel with your hips not open then barely move haha old school karate step behind side kick MEGA POWER. Specially with your size would be amazing !

Got to love internet comments sections. A 30 minute video and people act like this is what he is doing full time. I know the fight stopped but people take KZbin videos too seriously. It’s just a snapshot of part of a day. There are 24 hours in a day, minus time for sleep 30 minutes is just a lunch break.

Never ask a martial artist about selfdefence. They allways overestimate their capabilities. It is allways about mass and technique elevates mass. Hitting a knock out point is near zero in a real fight. Also in a real fight it is more important to protect yourself then be sorry. Kicking is a big risk in balance and defence. In UFC most of the time they kick low or front, because it is fast and less risky.
@pipedreamteam418411 ай бұрын
You might want to focus more heavily on wrestling/ jiu jitsu. Might be a better use of your time than spending time learning the intricacies of kicks which can take a long time to master

@@stinkmeaner6969 honestly it is kind of weird that he did this “training” with her. I’m sure it’s just for KZbin and for views but the more I see videos of him, Eddie and Brian I am slowly starting to think these fights aren’t really going to happen. Like it’s some publicity thing.

Mitchel could easily break any non training mans arm or hand or anything bone related. Now imagine a girl even if she trains like this he could just grab her and crush her anywhere. People dont understand how strong mitchel is, having someone like him on you, u have no chance to move. Except if ur a mid-heavy man fighter in some category with alot of experience or skill.

@@robertduncan8400Brian seems to be taking it seriously but the fight organisers are extremely sketchy so I would not bet on the fight happening / the athletes getting paid.

@@iR3Mi What people don't understand is that he's not trying to destroy her in this scenario, just grab her. she would have many chances to get at his groin or eyes etc, and it doesn't matter who you are, that will stop you.
