This video actually showcases a really important thing in video games, which is game sense and positioning. When he had someone telling him when to go, when to back off, and where to stay, that was all he needed to become 10 times better, and its actually one of the most important things to learn in a lot of competitive games, its not all about being good mechanically. While mechanics help a lot, what truly makes you the best is understanding the game and game state.
@n2k9709 ай бұрын
yep, especially when it comes to people who have played the game for years and “not improved”, usually their mechanics is near as good as it will get, they just don’t have nearly enough game sense
@XCC239 ай бұрын
@@n2k970 Also - when you have someone to "raid lead" you like this, you can actually focus fully on mechanical skill without being "distracted" by also having to think about the gamestate. You see how fast his mechanical skill actually deteriorates without a shotcaller thinking for him.

@@XCC23 100%. People reallllly underestimate the impact of the mental load involved.
@dizzydreamaway9 ай бұрын
exactly the game sense skill is really the most impressive thing to watch from any competitive gamer. Anyone can practice aim and mechanical skills to become the best at mouse movement/keyboard coordination but the real skill to win comes from those split second decision making and predicting the other players' moves that translates to knowing when to use the mechanical skills.
