My favorite part of all this is that you shot a range from a high of 87 to a low of 69(nice). It shows that even a really good golfer can blow up on any day if they don’t have their A game. Ordinary players should not be discouraged when we have blow up rounds nor should our expectations be to shoot our best score ever everytime. It’ll happen eventually if you are working on your game and if not, just enjoy the beautiful game we all love.

Thanks Matt, I've been struggling with driving off the tee box and followed your lead and went and bought a 2 and 3 irons. two weeks of practice and Wala hitting 2 iron straight as an arrow and just about the same distance of the driver. Bi product of hitting irons my game has improved. I'll play this winter and spring to reestablish my handicap. Your like for coffee during play kills me I’m too jittery if I drink caffeine. I prefer beer on the front and back. 😊

Lovin’ the Mizuno Comp EZ 1 iron. I have had that set (2-PW) since 2000 and I still play them often. Very sweet feeling forged irons that you can just launch.

Ahhhh the driver is a fickle creature. But it’s the main reason I went from a 10 to a 4 cap last summer. Once that thing caught fire I was playing 3x as aggressive and giving myself easy pars and more birdie looks. But if the driver isn’t dialed it’s also a way to shoot horrible scores
