Yes, that is a southern phrase. Southerner s love their biscuits and gravy lol. It came from The Spring Shop at Hobby Lobby. They carry tons of that kind of thing plus great other stuff that goes on sale for great prices. Your Fenton pieces were amazing. What a deal. I have that same VB wallet in an older pattern. I need a new one. Mines almost worn out!

I would of bought so much more! Great sale! The scottie is a candy container from the 1930-40s. Pretty common. Sells for 10 to 12 these days. Used to sell higher. Many shapes.

I'm so happy for you, Tina, but I so wish that my area had church rummage sales like yours! I went to one on Thursday. Everything was 50 cents each except for a few items that were individually priced. (Orrefers bowl $5, for example.) I got puzzles, a candle, a BBW lotion, and 2 small pieces of sterling jewelry. So many of our churches quit having rummage sales because the younger people won't participate in putting on the sale. So sad and frustrating. : (

That candy dish is amazing !! Rummage sales are my favorite, and we have wonderful ones where I live. However, we are moving and the area we are moving to has sales where they charge admission, prices on the first day are double what the items are priced, and there are many, many people. Oh, well. I'll be nearer my grandchildren .

Hi, I love your videos, but I have a suggestion. A small folding cart on wheels would work much better than the Ikea bags. When I rummage, I use my cart and a few towels to keep my treasures safe.

Or, I was also talking about the little clear glass scotty dog. Also, they used to sell little glass dogs with candy inside, and they would put a cardboard paper underneath so the candy wouldn't fall out.

Tina love your videos!! I always put newspaper or bubble wrap in my ikea bags when I go rummaging. I also keep it in my car when I go garage sale hunting because more and more I find the folks holding the sales are not prepared with bags, boxes, newspapers...anything... But back to the bubble wrap, it's light weight enough, just stash some in your bags ahead of time girl!! You find so many amazing breakable treasures.

I'm so happy for you, Tina, that you scored on the Fenton items. Ya know, I've always wondered why you passed up glass and go for games and shoes. Maybe they are lucrative, too. I have no idea. I live about two hours from Pittsburgh and right on the border of Ohio along the river. We used to have a lot of marble making as well. I live in the area of the Donaghho stoneware jugs originated.
