The difference in player base between OU and UU was crazy. I started playing in NU because I thought it would be a good way to start getting into PVP in this game.

Yeah from what i can tell, OU is the only super active tier. UU and NU are fun but people just dont want to invest into them sadly :( At least the tournaments for them do fill up so thats probably where any content of mine will come from if i do UU or NU or even Doubles

As a consistent top 50 UU I can tell you that finding a match is very dependent on the time window. Unlike OU where you queue up immediately. This sometimes gets to you especially after a hard loss, like queue me up already so I can feel better about it. Anyway, I am too invested in UU to change rn but tbh short queues are very tempting.

@@Smooge More people would be willing to invest in UU and NU if competitive pokemons were more accessible. It's extremely time consuming to get the resources to build just one competitive team and therefore you feel the game is forcing you to stay in one tier forever.
