One thing that makes sense is there is no tag either india or disputed just respected the local feelings what the local want from visitors..Locals don't feel glad if they're tagged with either both of this... They themselves tag them only kashmiris in most of the videos i saw. BTW have a good journey there and also be careful as i heared there're too many scammer or something else. Stay well.

Absurdist, your simplistic presentation carried this to a whole new level. It was so pleasing to see your approach that doesn't thrust upon much dramatization and unnecessary refinement. I wish you all the luck for all your endeavours. There's a place called Bhadarwah, a valley nestled in midst of mid-himalayan forest ranges. The place lies in District Doda of Jammu & Kashmir. It takes you around 5-6 hours from Srinagar to reach. The place is in a totally different league of its own. I invite you to be my guest.

@@IamtheAbsurdist , the place I mentioned is my hometown. And yes, foreigners do visit sometimes. Most recently, Karl Rock was here. You can check from his channel. Bhadarwah is more European than other places around, in terms of physical resemblance. Also, because of being less trotted by tourists, it's an absolutely scam free place. You'll get a lot of local support. The people are quite simple, by and large. Rest, exceptions exist everywhere in the world. I'll help you understand the place with its physical exploration, rich history and culture. I am sure, you'll long coming back again and again.

There are a lot of must visit places in kashmir, such as Pahalgam, gurez valley , Great Lakes trek. So I hope you stay here for a while and experience it thoroughly.
