I Honestly Can't Believe This..

In his exit interview yesterday, Matthew Tkachuk went into more detail about his injury he suffered in game 3 and it was so bad that he needed help just getting out of bed and getting dressed to get to the rink. Let me know your thoughts below on the situation.

I don’t have a lot of good things to say about Tkachuk, but his dedication to his team and fans is unbelievable. I can’t in good conscience commend him for playing through a broken sternum, but he’s tough as nails for that.

Panthers had heart for days, but playing such a rough game caught up to them. Nobody makes it through the playoffs unscathed, but the panthers really got messed up. Ekblad on a broken foot since game 1 round 1, so many guys concussed, and then tkachuk playing despite barely being able to move. Hopefully these guys can recover from all that without anything debilitating.

His carrer might slow down a kind of fast because of his physical kind of play. He is still young but let's wait how he will be physically in 5 years from now.

He is obviously trying to decide between covering pass opportunity vs Tkachuck. You go make that decision in real time and see if you do better.

@@McAteer87 What are you talking about? Pass to where? He slides to the crease, the only pass option is behind him and becomes more open as a result of the slide. It was a dumb decision, and it cost them a goal. This is how the game works, mistakes cost teams goals. I don't have to be able to do it better to notice it. Do the guys showing them the game tape of their errors all go play in a higher league?

Vegas knew he was dangerous, and they did all they could to get him out. Which they did. Tkuchuk using his key players, Bennett, Montour, Verhaeghe, Barkov, and even Reinhardt, he would make spectacular plays.
