The camera notch thing seems overblown. I rarely notice the notch on my phone, the UI is designed so that you never notice it, much less get annoyed by it. Personally I don't care if the phone has a half centimeter of extra bezel on the top, so having a notch vs not doesn't really matter to me.

Similar Screens, similar camera, the android has a better Bluetooth chip by a single gen. Apple's 16promax Wifi card has more band coverage. The CPU in this is the first CPU in a couple years that's stood a chance since apple bought out production at TSMC(Snapdragon 8 Elite vs Apple A18 Pro). Biggest thing giving apple an advantage is app dev support/not canceling product support after 3-5 years(Thanks chromecast), I sometimes get updates for google's own app's quicker than I did on the pixel phones. Really impressive phone, but 10 years behind is 2010's era android fanboy cope.

Nubia really does understand what consumers really want. It has copious amounts of internal storage so we're okay with them dropping the ball on removable storage, the screen is impeccable, there is no camera bump, it has a headphone jack, and they even included an IR blaster so you can control your television and other IR capable electronics with it. Very cool. Plus, it's just a good phone if it happens to support your particular network's bands. Unfortunately, T-Mobile in the US is generally not on that list, so I'm stuck being envious of others.

I was like that too until my battery couldn't keep up with the new updates. I got a little Bluetooth clip on thing that you can plug your headphones into from APEKX and it's better than having to just use air pods. No noticeable loss in quality only bad thing is it uses micro usb to charge

Same... Last phone I had was the iPhone 8, it was just the right size for a phone. Big enough to see everything clearly, small enough to use it with one hand. I wanted to go back to Android and settled on Sony Xperia 10 V. It's just as wide (or rather, narrow) as the iPhone 8, but taller, so I can still reach both sides of the keyboard with one hand. The other option I considered were the new Motorolas, but they all have the hole punch and curved screens, which I'm very much not the fan of. Bring back uninterrupted screens and flat backs!

I too have a 512 GB SD card. I prefer store everything essential there than uploading in cloud. Uploading in cloud ensure safety but need connectivity (mainly I use data not WiFi, so I don't want to spent my data quota for this)

If they gave it a high quality DAC, it would be a NEW FEATURE for their phone that hasn’t been able to innovate for a few years and a reason to buy it over the competition! You do know that 90%of iPhone users do not want to have a cable at all, don't you. Yes having a headphone jack is great and all but somewhat unnecessary. There are a thousands of options for normal costumers to purchase a good pair of noise canceling headphones on the cheap. If you need a DAC there is this the Fiio BTR13 or things like that. For 99% of usecases the iPhone is adequate for everyday use. A dac just adds a point in the cons section if it isn't working as expected for some reason. When you cast a wide net, you want to catch a lot of fish, not all the fish. Leaving out a fairly expensive peace of hardware (when it is any good it costs ya a pretty penny) is not stupid. Diabolical? Yes. One less thing to worry about? Also yes. I don't like how audio enthusiasts are always like "Just bring back the headphone jack it isn't that hard" Buy a Bluetooth or type C portable DAC. That isn't that hard eighter. Most people don't care anymore. IF YOU care find a solution. You don't need to buy apple's shit. It is nice but there is a whole android world that may or may not meet your expectations. And if you bought into this "ecosystem" thing they do, the s you have to think about the entire compute system you have and find alternatives fast.

Even if a phone's MSRP is high that doesn't mean you have to pay full price for them. I've been getting phones for half price or less since 2019 when I got my 1st flagship phone (LG V40). These high end phones come in handy especially if you don't have a computer and like to film, edit high resolution videos, make music and other productive things all on your phone. Even that $950 V40 with 6GB of RAM (which was a lot for a phone in 2019) couldn't really handle 4K video editing even for basic edits. Major slow downs made me go back to editing in 1080p where I could actually add proper fx.

Aesthetically beautiful! It only needs fine tuning of the front camera, and I hope there are no moving parts like the back fan. I like the candy bar shape of this smartphone. This is supposedly Samsung did to their flagship, no front camera hole punch. Samsung it's about time to go follow suit with this idea. Hope you do this with your next flagship phone!
