This is so true. If you have a depressed friend for example, call and keep calling daily or every other day, including calling twice in a row, until they answer the phone. My best friend does this for me and I truly believe that it's the reason I've been more stable (I'm bipolar) since I met him around 17 years ago.

@@emilala9049 and I'd wager you'd likely not ask for help correct?? I deal with my own issues (minor bipolar and clinical depression) and I refuse to ASK for help. But the ONLY reason I'm still on this earth is because a rare few checked on me and even if it's only one person that cares enough to ask can make all the difference for someone struggling with mental health issues.

Personally I love your content. Despite having a very different set of core beliefs. For me, your content allows me to learn about a part of our world I would never otherwise get a chance to. The way you relate to your military life as a person rather than just another mouthpiece is refreshing, educational and of course, funny. I also really enjoy your longer videos that look at military history and doctrine and stuff. Hearing you talk to us in the same way you would if giving a seminar for military personnel is great. I love your content! Both because its fun and funny but it also is a window into my husbands work life. Helps me get what he and his friends are talking/ complaining about. Its his first contract and we live off base and i just dont get much to work with when it comes to understanding his life at work and getting mil life jokes. Were at fort hood... I mean cavasos too. I hate all things. ‘Cept you internet stranger. You seen nice and I’m so sorry you are hurting. Turn to the people close to you for support. They can sense more of what is going on w you than you know, and it’s v likely wounding them you haven’t/don’t share w them and haven’t them in. They love YOU - the person, not the resources you bring in. Sharing that person w them is the greatest gift you can give to both yourself and to them and will pay dividends for a lifetime. You are worth the effort. Put the effort into you to find the bravery to collapse into them and share.

My best friend and honorary "Mom" passed last December, out of the blue massive heart attack. I was blessed to see her just a few days before, we laughed, hugged and bellowed "Love ya!" at each other as we parted. I feel so blessed that I got to see her, I was one of the last that talked to her before the event. NEVER take your friends/family for granted, it can all be over in a flash. Treasure every moment like it's the last, because it could be.
