Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory God will reveal in us. Romans 8:18 He that sow to his flesh shall reap corruption, but he that soweth to the spirit shall reap life everlasting. Galatians 6:8 Bible is FULL of the good wisdom these guys teach and its thousands of years old, no wonder the degenerate culture hates it. I can find tons of scripture on being a man of worth, a masculine man who delays gratification. Who chooses the right path. Having the faith to step out in courage and go after the dream God himself put in their hearts. The culture wants to destroy us, and hide the truth. They tell us lies saying "obeying the Bible is old nonsense for people who dont understand that vice and sexual sin is liberating and progressive. Your life is bad because not of your own choices but because youre a victim." This culture is blind. :( It pains me to see them so lost. I understand beause I was once very lost and totally dead in my sins and addictions. But God heard my plea and Im a completely new person.

@@emmanuelbuachie1592 I've found some examples on reddit: TurboTortuga·3 yr. ago I like to use cycling as a metaphor. Sometimes I go cycling. I generally enjoy the ride except for a steep hill at the end of the ride - I hate that hill! If I think about that hill on most of the ride, simply dreading and having unpleasant feelings about the thought of me sweating up that hill, then I suffer even before I reach the hill. Consequence: I end up suffering mentally on the enjoyable parts of the ride, but also when I actually reach the hill. JihadDerp·3 yr. ago When a kid is going to the doctor for a flu shot, he'll cry and flail and scream because he knows it's going to hurt. But a lot of times, the doctor will simply distract the child with a toy or joke and give the shot while they're not looking, and the child doesn't even realize it's happened. The kid freaks out because he thinks the shot is going to be painful. In his mind alone, he creates and reacts to pain that hasn't happened yet. These are really basic and you can go deeper than that, but the general idea is that You should not suffer before the thing happens. You should not worry so much that you suffer about something that might happen in the future. i guess. something like that. :D

Hamza, I went through a lot of trauma when I was young also and in recent years have been diagnosed with IBS. For a long time I feared food and living normally and it only became progressively worse. When I decided to consciously take control of my life and live differently, the biggest shift being that I came back to the Lord, I came to understand that IBS isn't a disease, but is a symptom of my really bad anxiety and stress due to negative mental health. Sometimes I still have a flare during really stressful periods, but I'm no longer on medication, eat like a normal person and have faith and trust that I can live my life as I intend to and let the "special program" as I like to call it, finish. So, despite the pain and hardship I had to deal with, I am so grateful it happened. It led me back to God, it made me mentally stronger and when I do experience flare symptoms, I try to see it as a blessing and indicator of my mental state and immediately consciously work on my mental health. I never comment on anything, but I'm very appreciative of your content bro, and hopefully this story can help someone else out. Bless

Yup. People who had it easy don’t know what its like to be at the bottom until time catches up to them. I suffered as a kid. I had no 2 front teeth as a kid. Said 3 words a day. Afraid to smile and laugh. Got to a very dark place in my life as I seen others who had it easy enjoy their childhood. But all that suffering guided me to the gym, and finding peace within myself. And a source of income that can make me millions at best per year. And I look back at those guys who had it easy and they aren’t on self improvement. Also the guys who made fun of me for not having teeth lol. Its getting to adulting time and I spread awareness of it but there own ego stops them from growing. Not saying im better than them cause im not. But like Hamza said, im grateful to have gone through that suffering.

so i have a genuine rebuttal and a question to ask. what about those who didn’t have to suffer/struggle? there’s passion, fire, and drive within the struggle and it’s up to those who have fire lit under them to shine. but what about those who didn’t have to go through that? where do those kids find their drive? the quote “strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak mean create hard times, and hard times create strong men” is a good example to use from this. how do the weak men “find” the hard times that create strong men around them?(because they didn’t organically come from it.)
@whatwouldkealiido48192 жыл бұрын
@@0piumaeternum they go through hard times after living a life thats easy to them. They find their purpose and what matters in life. No its not money and girls. Your purpose goes deep to as paying your family back. You can only stay at your parents home for 200$ a month rent and play video games for so long before having a light bulb light up in their head. But struggle also has to deal with how they were raised. If there wasn’t a sense of being disowned by your parents if you don’t do something with your life then you wont feel the struggle to make something happen. There is a lot of kids who are not well educated and struggle because of it. They just need the right coach and mentor and open mindedness to make a difference in life

Saw this last night and I didn’t watch it. It’s wild how things float into my life seemingly when I need or am ready for them. I’m 21 and this year has been the hardest of my life from roommates, to jobs, financial independence and school as well as self development. I’ve been getting my teeth kicked it. All of these factors where bearing down on me so I gave up and masturbated to run away. I knew what I was doing. I’ve gotten to the point where porn can’t control me but I gave in. My life isn’t hard at all I’m just weak but I will grow stronger. I will succeed, there is no other choice but ever once in a while I break down and that’s ok. If it’s a sign of improvement. I’m going to get to my mountain top and if you see this I hope you do to. It’s hurts and your sore but go at your own pace consistent and steady. We got this.

There's good point in there. Dopamine and pain are regulated by the same area in our brain. Feeling good or bad is always about brain balancing itself. When you disengage in a pleasurable high dopamine activity such as video gaming or eating junk food, brain starts to balance itself by inducing pain on you. There's no way you'll stop video gaming and not feel pain. It's not about your mentality, it doesn't care if you're 100 lvl on stoicism. It's brain chemistry and you can't force it to stop. Another point is that if you use high dopamine activities as an escapism, as soon as you'll stop you will feel every negative emotion you were running from but coupled with guilt and that pain from brain balancing itself. And another thing. Breaking habits requires conscious effort. It takes energy and can make you tired. There is one true crime case about son killing his own father with an axe, completely destroyed his father's frontal lobe, but not killing him instantly. Father woke up with his alarm, went to the bathroom, brushed his teeth, shaved his beard with his jaw hanging on skin. He couldn't realize he was hurt, he didn't have any brain that could think. He then went to the kitchen, sorted his email, then went outside to get newspaper, accidentally locked himself out, but took a spare key from a secret place near his front door, opened it and only then collapsed and died. This case terrified me in a sense that we are not even actually "alive" the majority of the time were awake. So think about how much our brain doesn't want us to think, it tries to save energy all the time. Thinking and making effort takes a lot of energy. To change your whole day requires you to think 100% of your waking time. You'll be dead tired by the end of the day, and you need to be prepared to push through that pain. I'm not trying to over explain what Hamza said, I just thought it would be useful to share my two cents.

Been on self improvement for around a year and my life was by far the best it had ever been and it just crumbled for no reason , i dont know what i did to cause it but i fell into the worst depression ive ever had and i really dont know what to do and i feel so incredibly lost and hopeless,my discipline is so low that i can barely make myself eat and im going back to my old skinny boy days, i really hope i get myself out of this because im not doing good mentally right now and im trying so thank you because if i didnt see your videos pop up every time theres a new post i would probably have quit self improvement and maybe even wouldve killed myself, thank you hamza, i really really do appreciate what you are doing.

what a great video. on the topic of jealousy in relationships. theres only 2 ways to go about it. either you implicitly trust your partner or you dont. ive lived my relationships in a way where i implicitly trust my partner with absolutely no feelings of jealousy. now, that being said, when shit hits the fan, im forced to compartmentalize my feelings with that in mind. I might have an awful breakup where she admits to cheating, but for the 8 or so months we spent together I was on cloud 9 and she was constantly worried id sleep with other women and being unhappy and jealous. at the end of the day, the relationship for the majority of the time, as it affected me, was wonderful. I can't say the same for her.

Thanks for mentioning the ibs situation man. I got ulcerative colitis 3 years ago and I finally have the will and gratitude now to try and fight through it through working out and ditching my old habits. I had some traumatic damage in my childhood and teenage years so possibly my diagnosis had to do something about that. Ulcers correlate to stress but Ive also had other auto immune issues in the past so your point definitely stands.

Bro this is so strange but I can totally relate to the weird taking a shit symptoms, in terms of paths yours is very relatable to my own, childhood trauma and falling to the grasps of instant gratification, I am truly inspired and fueled by your journey, this way is difficult but no matter what I will not quit I swear

As much as I agree, I have to say that not any kind of suffering is profitable. Some just drain you of your mental health resources without teaching you anything in return. Both occur.

I have dealt with suicidal thoughts since I was about 11, started to self harm at 9. I'm 18 now and last week had one of the lowest times I have had in months for no reason at all it just happens. Never been tested but I can quite confidently guess I suffer from depression. However, when I do get out of these times I use them as fuel. Kind of like "if my own brain can't take me down neither can this run" or something along those lines.

@@minimumx4481 yeah and it's not very helpful is it? If that mindset was helpful you would not have to deal with those thoughts anymore, this is just blatant coping

Hamza, your life stories are not cringe in any way. Trust me, the story told in this video about the girl was truly interesting. I just had a cringe moment in my own life, and listening to your story, I actually felt some kind of connection through that story. It felt like I was talking to my best friend just now! Wow.

You are a genius with those titles. I love how you make them extremely clickbait but not clickbait because it's literally the topic of the video at the same time.
