Depending on how and what you cook it with duck does taste like pork chop depending on what you cook in it but if you cook stuff in it then it tastes like chicken. Besides that Congrats on your first duck had a green head as my first duck too. Keep up the good work!

That Steven's 320 20 gauge could use a nice aftermarket choke tube, like a Muller H2O passing choke. Surviving Duck Season on you tested 44 different choke tubes and found that non ported tubes patterned better than ported tubes 100% of the time and the mullers had the best patterns. He has 9 separate videos on this
