If you have loads of money, you must ALWAYS get a prenuptial signed. If they balk, you know that they are JUST in it for immediate cash. Granted, someone a little slicker might try to get your money later on, but you have some protection.

Who's father passed and who saw this as good fortune? You confused me right at the beginning. This guy has no idea how wills work, he has to wait for probate, he has no right to any of it, unless she chooses to give him part of HER inheritance, whether they are married or not. She would have to gift it legally over strong objections. He is not in any position of strength, and he's belled the cat. He played his hand far too early.

I agree! I read the first part twice to confirm that it implied it was HIS father who would die. Then, after the reading of the will where SHE inherited, he handed her signed divorce papers… Why did he do that? Yet again, the description of the story was bull! Totally incomprehensible.

Well so far this is not following what the title of the story said she was supposed to inherit the billion-dollar company with a 88 million inheritance or something and this is nothing of what the tale of the story is supposed to be
