The grenade valve caps will corrode in a very short time having them on. Had them on my truck and they corroded very shortly after putting them on.

Jetting and pipe have to match letting the baffle out sounds better but it is not recommended I see valvetrain issues in your future.Cooler air rushing back on a hot valve will result in egg shaped valve and have to be fixed reliability should leave the stock setup alone you will be better off in the long run.

Yamaha are the best I have had them all , an I had 4 DT125R and a YZ 250 , don’t think they sold DTR in America , I had a Honda MTX, didn’t last long till a smashed the engine was not that good an I have had KDX 125 an KMX 200 , the Yamahas were the best
