Ughhhh guys. The spire project, it was the serum bomb, it was supposed to be used to spread serum. The serum allows radiation to have someone control minds, like the documents said. Nelson is controlling Ben, that’s why Ben said it was nice to have space In jail, because he can’t be controlled by Nelson. The airpod in woods’ ear. That scared her because she thought Nelson was talking to woods.

I agree to a point. However, to be fair, Woods could have taken a pause and simply not responded to Matt or asked again in that exact moment. He did not have to respond to Matt. He could have phrased it as talking to her or himself as “okay, yeah… let’s just take a moment”. It could have given her a chance to breathe and calm down a second, make sure he was calm and breathing, while also clueing in Matt that he heard him and would ask again, but in a moment. Perhaps the space, quiet pause, and moment to rephrase the question or come back to it after another question or two would’ve made a difference.

Oh gosh that phrase must've triggered a really bad ptsd attack, you really shouldn't have pushed her to answer those questions. Especially so when you said "Time Is Ticking" that might've been a mantra of sorts that was forced in the workers/patients heads to keep them doing what they were told.

I’m wondering, the serum bomb had a timer, and it may have gone off.. they knew about the Absolate, and that Matt had it, and then project SPIRE, and “Time is Ticking”.. what if the serum bomb was the first step in project SPIRE, and we are now on a time limit to stop the SPIRE, like Deb said.

Matt needs to be patient. The only reason they lost her was because matt cant keep his mouth shut at the right times. I rly felt like she was gonna open up about it but then matt kept talking about how "time was ticking". They were abt to get this vital piece of info from her and matt just went and messed it up because he couldnt wait a couple more minutes?? Woods and the girl were barely into the interview. Woods was doing the right thing by taking it slow. Matt is starting to become the villian Just my opinion for the story i know matt isnt actually like this

Matt, you've got to be patient I get you want this over and done with but she has a fragile mind. She was basically tortured with the experiments, it was a push to get her into the building she was tortured in, you've got to understand pushing her isn't the best option. It may have worked before but everyone's different and takes situations differently from experience. Plus "Time is ticking" might be her trigger sentence or something. I know this is for the story, just my opinion on how he acted in the story! I know he isn't really like this. Keep up the amazing work! Can't wait for the next episode!😁

I know Matt said last time we keep going after him in the comments, but you would think after all of this time he would start freaking listening! You cant brute force everything just because you want it now. We've lost access to a vital source that could have answered more if he would just back off and let people handle things. How intimidating was it for her to walk into a place she already didn't want to be, with cameras she didn't want to be on and Woods holding note cards at a conference table. They could have sat at the dope or nope couch, offered her something to drink and just let her say what she was comfortable with then asked questions. There was no reason for Matt to be on a phone call with Woods, especially dealing with someone who is paranoid. Matt you treated this as an interrogation, like she was just another key instead of a person. *This is why Woods hid the file* I would be pissed to have someone i care about that didn't want to be there treated like that. I also think that after Matt started to wear the key around his neck, it can have affect on his emotions. Like a couple other people have mentioned, John Doe titled his email with the coordinates 'TIME IS TICKING' in the video "The Undercover Officer Left Us Something." This matches Matt's phrase and for some reason this phrase seemed to trigger her. It seems a little too coincidental to be nothing, so maybe John Doe isn't trustworthy like they fear? Any thoughts?

Think about the fact that she said "Because I worked on the Spire project, remember?" That means she WORKED on it, wasn't a subject for it. Syntec possibly could have been using employees as patients which would explain her patient file. Maybe when a employee couldn't/refused to work anymore, they turned them into a test subject? Syntec feared that employees being fired or let go of would jeopardize there sucess since most people would tell others about what went on there if they ever got a chance to leave. Also, she said "remember?" as if Woods was supposed to know that. It could be that Woods still hasn't told us everything he knows about her.

As many people were stating, Matt was definitely pushing the survivor, which he shouldn't have. However, I doubt he knew that "time is ticking" was a trigger phase for her. This being said, I want to comment on a one thing said in the interview. "Syntec has hundreds of paranormal sensors in the walls, the walls are rigged." I find this statement interesting because the team has opened up many walls in the studio in order to find serum and other clues, but they never found a sensor of any sort. That is odd. I feel like a next step might be to locate a sensor and try to figure out exactly what it was designed to pick up. They could start with the walls that have writing on them. Also, since there were tons of sensors in the wall I feel that the data they produced would had to have been recorded somewhere, maybe there is a hard drive or another server hidden inside another wall with this data. This data may be important in regards to project spire, or maybe some other Syntec project.

Actually, I think Deborah might be good. She said that Syphus has eyes and ears everywhere and she didn't want to list any name because she was afraid to drag someone else into the mix. When she refused to talk about Deb is seemed calculated and she didn't have a negative reaction like she did when Woods said Syphus or Ben. Deb might not have always been on the right side of the tracks, but I think she might be calculative good. As in she's cold and maybe even a little heartless in how she does things but she's aiming to do the right thing on a large scale. Deb might have killed Wes but it's possible that she was truthful in the fact that it was an accident.

theory: if you go back to the video where ben and matt are talking in the parking lot. there is multiple things that tie into here. 1. ben tells matt that benjamin is dead and he should call him the absolute. and then that relates the the absalate (maybe). which was his syrum bomb. 2. ben said to matt that same video benjamin told matt "time will tell" which kinda relates to time is ticking so when the lady god mad/freaked out she probably heard benjamin say that to her or the patients alot. also another thing benjamin kept saying you and i (him and matt) are the same. which again leads to the fact that they basically said the same thing. also clearly the name "scott clearic" is more important than we thought. and another point is in that same video he said 16-22-01 which is jan 16 2022 which is the next time matt posts (which explains the no next time thing) in the same sentance where he says 16-22-01 he says "i will kill her" either talking about deb or maybe this is farfarfeched but the lady in this video maybe.

I just have this really awkward feeling that Matthias could actually be Nelson syphus bc they know nothing about him and Matt kept on questioning why we (subject 4) wanted to know so much about him. When he said that time is ticking it triggered a really bad memory about her past life at syntec. Matt, or should I say Nelson, knew it would trigger her and he didn’t want her to see him bc he knew she would recognize him. I feel like the lady wil reveal that Matt is Nelson and Matt is gonna deny it. I feel like this is a very good possibility. I also just found this out but if you go to 7:45 in the season one recap ( really the second season but it’s titled season one) there is a chat where someone says that time is ticking. Whoever it was that said that, the anonymous person obviously was scarred from it. Time is ticking and clock is ticking is pretty close so she probably thought that they were trying to get info out of her to do something to her again. @Mathias please see this Again adding on after watching some more videos I realize that the chat I was talking about earlier was with John Doe and since we never found out who he was he could actually be Nelson Syphus. I mean honestly if you think about it, John Doe could be lying about everything the whole time. This could also be why he gave Matt the wrong antidote. He could’ve known that it wouldn’t have worked and that’s why he gave it to them. I mean honestly what are the chances that he really is a regular person that actually got the wrong one. A lot of people are saying that Matt has been bulldozing for awhile now, and I agree. However, although the serum may play a part in this, I am seeing more of a "god complex" from him. (To me) he has so internalized being the "leader of the group" (referring back to the files they found on the server) that he isn't listening to others. He is more apt to go his way or no way, and cannot release control to others. Although I noticed this before, it became more obvious back when they found the antidotes, he broke up the group without the rest indicating they wanted that. However, each time there is a peril, he sees himself more as the hero than anyone else. (Saving others by sacrificing himself, stopping the serum bomb, being sick, etc) If you look at today's thumbnail, it shows Matt leading the woman to the conference room, and it's titled "I interviewed", instead of "woods interviewed". You could argue that this is to get more views, but I would wonder if they aren't trying to tell us something. Sorry for the long comment, but wanted to hash out some ideas.

Probably because he was leading the questioning. Woods didn't seem like he really wanted to do it. And with him saying "I" instead of "Woods" or "we", it becomes an accountability thing. Success and/or failure falls to him. So it could be that the serum is making his internal struggle more obvious.

I've been thinking the same thing....Matt acts like he is the only involved at times and only his opinions matter like when he completely destroyed any communication with deb....I understand she lied...but she was one of the few ppl who has info about syntec that they were in contact with....he should have just shut it down, just incase something come up and Deb is the only one who can provide info. But handeling such a traumatised human needs time and patients and he has to try and control himself, even if it gets scary... As soon as Woods said that Matt still wears the absalate (idk if that’s spelled right), something clicked in my brain. Made me think of Harry Potter. What I find interesting is that she said the walls were rigged with hundreds of sensors but the team has opened the walls many times. Maybe the workers were just told that to keep them paranoid and put or maybe they just removed them when they left. It would be a good idea to try and locate one because it will be a big help with our ghost problem.

22:55 she said she WORKED on the project she didn’t say she was experimented on! I think she WORKED for Syntec initially but something happened that turned her into a experiment subject. That’s why she knows so much and that’s why she is so concerned with Syphus and/Benjamin finding out about her. I do have an insane theory that is based on the time travel experiments syntax was doing. Theory. What if Mathias and co are being led through the mysteries by their future selves. Hear me out. The fact that there has been a lot of talk about history repeating itself is a bit hard to avoid. What if Matt, Sam and woods are here now from the future pulling the strings so that way their past selves(who we currently watch)can get to the point in which they need to jump back and put things in place and what if the reason we haven't heard anything much about syphus is because he jumped ahead to sometime later from the past or he hadn't become syphus yet and hasn't done any of these things yet

He's prob not only worrying about his health and the effects the serum might cause him either in the near or distant future, as well as his and all his staff/friend's and all their families safety, but on top of that worrying about his business and all thief future's. You sound young so ya might not fully understand just how much us adults have to worry about, especially when running your own business cos you're not only worrying about making the right decisions for your own future but you also have the added stress of having to make the right ones cos of how they impact all you employees lives too....so adding all this wot they're going through onto all of that would be hard for the best of us to go through, so give him a break. What got me was that she said she “worked” on Project Spire. If she was a test patient that doesn’t usually mean you are “working”. You’re a participant. I think she’s hiding more than what she has given on. Also, Matt. You need to stop pushing people to their limits. You lose more than you gain. When you are feeling anxious, pause and take a breath. Woods did a great job keeping her calm, it’s when you got inpatient and started pushing for answers that sent her over the edge.

I know this will sound silly but I think the phrasing of “worked” on the project can still mean she was a participant. For all we know SPIRE could be some kind of super soldier project where the patients are doing some form of “work” for Syntec while being tested on and observed. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ben was in SPIRE too.
