I do think he got the conscription laws a bit wrong. Everyone has the obligation to support the war effort. When you turn 18 we have an agency that fills the militarys needs for personel. But that agency is not stupid, so they try to find the most intelligent and motivated persons to fill those roles. So if you aspire to become a civilian truck driver you will probably be picked for your consript training for a logistics company, if you aspire to work in the healtcare sector you will probably be shoosen to become a medic and so on. It is not volontary, and legally you have (almost) no say in the matter, but the agancy dont pick people that will not fit for the role, they want motivated people fo each role. (The almost part is you have the legal right to refuce to carry a gun, but then you can still be choosen to be placed in civil defence to restore imortant civillian infra structure) Most people as we age will be placed at our ordinary jobs since society still need to function in war-time.

Swedish fish was sold by Malaco (swedish company) and were based on "pastellfiskar", This was in late 50s or the 60s.
