I Invented the Dumbest Cow Feeding Method - Scrap Mechanic Gameplay

Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic! Today I am inventing another stupid and over-engineered machine. This is an automatic cow-feeding Ferris wheel. It is designed to feed up to 4 cows at once and doesn't work quite as intended, but it still works!

One idea I had, you can take your piston/sensor corn stacks, and turn that into a carousel. It'd cut the number of sensors and pistons to one each, but you'd still need the second controller to control the spinning of the carousel. And depending on the size of the carousel, you could have quite a bit more corn loaded up. You might even be able to add a mechanism to retract it horizontally away from the ferris wheel, when it's off, for easier reloading.

You should add in a timer so it activates, dispenses and rotates 1/4 turn only once every six minutes or so. This will feed each Woc once a day and you only have to refill it every 4 days.. 7:35 - I did the exact same thing, had the whole machine built before discovering corn cant come out of vacuum pump... well, not the exact thing, it wasn't a ferris-wheel.

Scrapman learning things about the chests and vacuum pumps that the community has known about for ages. I only say that because the moment the update came out where vacuum pumps could suck up more things was the same time a bunch of us also tried to do auto feeders. The only successful animal autofeeder you can do is the one you did in your other survival world with the Scrap Castle, the Glob Feeder. It's really disappointing that corn will not dispense just because it'd be fun to have a kind of survival "corn mower" that would break corn cobs, suck up the corn and then immediately place them for Wocs. Then you go back over the same area afterwards and suck up all the milk, but nope. I'm hoping that changes with Chapter 2.

Also I just had an idea. Couldent he place blocks above the sensors to stop the corn from moving higher than them. And just have the Pistons always apply pressure. Rather than having it bounce around on the sensors?

To avoid the cows slicing the tower, could maybe move the corn toward them horizontally instead of vertically. Either way, amusing video. No idea how you would ever collect the milk. :P

Challenge idea: Walker's Olympic Build a walker that can walk under water, walls, mountain... There are dwarfs that are trying to hit you with a hammer or shoot you But they don't have any vehicles, so You did the second best thing, you built a walker to be on the same speed as them... Rules: Shooting them when you are far away from them Hammer them if you somehow(for what reason!) Get supper close friends the walker then use hammer...

Couldn´t you just put a piston under the feeding piston which shifts another row of corn on a piston in the feeding spot ,when a sensor detects that the one befor is out, like that you could have nearly endless feeding.

Make a Farm-Bot gym where there is a cow/woc spawner encaged in some blocks that Farm-Bots can't destroy. Then the Farm-Bot can keep slashing the cows/wocs with the open space that acts like a window.
