Have a look at this I just want to recommend an underrated hill station in Maharashtra which is Toranmal (In Satpura Ranges) in Nandurbar district. This district is also known as Adivasi District. It's the perfect season to visit there but it's up to you. Also river Tapi flows through this district. On the banks of Tapi Prakasha is situated also known as *Dakshin Kashi* . And there is also a interesting story about how this place got the name Dakshin Kashi. Kartikeya temple which opens only once a year is also situated there. Many excavations were done there under the direction of B.K Thapar. I couldn't get much information about excavation but some contents which dated about 1700-1300 B.C were found.

I'm a student who has spent one year in kota and can confidently say that the situation is much much better in kota , decent hostels with reasonable rent , clean city and certain coachings even help if landlord creates any issue
